LIST OF PASSERS: 2015-2016 DepEd ALS A&E Exam Results

MANILA, Philippines (Update) – The results and the official list of passers for SY 2015-2016 DepEd Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) exams conducted April 2016 were released by the Department of Education few months after the last day of examinations.

Results are posted below for elementary and secondary levels.

As posted by DepEd, 6, 305 students passed in elementary level while 119, 483 in secondary.

ALS A&E is formerly known as Non-Formal Education A&E test. It is a pencil and paper exam to measure the capabilities and competencies of those who did not finish elementary or secondary education in normal public or private institutions.

The exams were conducted in twelve Regional Testing Centers (RTCs) nationwide, particularly in Region 1 (Dagupan City), Region 3 (Aurora), Region 4A (Laguna, Lucena and Quezon), Region 4B (Calapan City), National Capital Region NCR (Muntinlupa City, Marikina City, Quezon City) and Region 6 (Negros Occidental).

Exam Results [Results are out 29 June 2016]

The first schedule of examination dated April 16 and April 17, 2016 for regular testing centers and extension centers covered the Regions 1, 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 5, CAR and NCR. The second wave of exams dated April 23 and 24, 2016 for regular testing centers and extension centers (rehabilitation and formation centers and BJMPs) covered the Regions 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, CARAGA and ARMM.

Successful examinees of the test will be given a Certificate or Diploma with the seal of DepEd and and signature of the Secretary. The certificate certifies that the competencies are comparable to graduates of the formal education system.

They are also qualified to enroll in secondary and college schools.

Meanwhile, Alternative Learning System is a free-education system given by the government which provides option for the dedicated students to finish their studies through non-formal and informal sources of knowledge and skills.

Release Date

Reports online said that the official results might be probably out online after 3 to 5 months (July – August, 2016). In actual, it was released June 29, 2016.

Previous Exams

On the same exam conducted during 2014, 6,045 hurdled the elementary level while 78, 740 passed the secondary level.

    Kapag natapos po ba yung exam ng ALS Batch 2016-2017? Kailan po malalaman yung results?
