#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions August 9, 2016 Due to Heavy Rains

MANILA, Philippines – Class Suspensions were announced at various areas around the country on August 9, 2016 due to heavy rains brought by “Habagat” or Southwest Monsoon and Low Pressure Area inside Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Here is the list of areas which classes are already suspended, courtesy of Inquirer.

Metro Manila:

  • Las Piñas City—All levels (public and private)
  • Parañaque City—All levels (public and private)
  • Pasay City—All levels (public and private)
  • Muntinlupa City—Pre-school to senior high school (public and private)
  • Valenzuela City—All levels (public and private)
  • Makati City—All levels (public and private)
  • Taguig City—All levels (public and private)
  • Malabon City—All levels (public and private)
  • Marikina City—All levels (public and private)
  • San Juan City—Pre-school to junior high school (public and private)
  • Manila City—All levels (public and private)

Other Areas:

  • Province of Cavite—All levels (public and private)
  • Bacoor City, Cavite—All levels (public and private)
  • Imus, Cavite—Pre-school to elementary (public and private)
  • Cainta, Rizal—All levels (public and private)
  • Taytay, Rizal—All levels (public and private)
  • Antipolo City, Rizal—All levels (public and private)
