#WalangPasok: Malacañang declared January 26, 2017 & February 3, 2017 Holiday in selected areas

MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang Palace through Proclamation No. 132 to 135 series of 2017 declared January 26, 2017 and February 3, 2017 special non-working days at selected areas due to celebrations of various important events.

Special non-working holidays are specifically declared on January 26, 2017 (Thursday) at Cadiz, Negros Occidental for their celebration of 43rd Dinagsa Festival and February 3, 2017 (Friday) at City of Cabanatuan for their celebration of 67th founding anniversary; Biñan, Province of Laguna for the celebration of city’s 72nd Liberation day; and Province of Bulacan for the celebration of birth anniversary of Blas F. Ople (former Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Senate President and Secretary of Labor).

Palace said that it is but fitting and proper that the people from above-mentioned cities be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasions with appropriate ceremonies.
