July 2017 Social Worker Board Exam

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission’s Board for Social Workers announced that the conduct of Social Worker board exam will push through on July 27-28, 2017 at its testing centers nationwide specifically in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Lucena, Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban, Pagadian, Davao, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Here are the important announcements from previous and new applicants:

  • Exam takers from the postponed July 2015 and July 2016 exams are advised to reapply. Those with issued Notice of Admission (NOA) need not to pay the application fee. Online processing will open and start on May 18, 2017 and will close on July 7, 2017
  • Previous applicants may reapply here and submit these requirements: Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Authenticated Birth Certificate (Original and Photocopy), Transcript of Records – TOR (Original and Photocopy), Notice of Admission (NOA), Marriage Certificate (if married.)

Social Worker board exams are originally scheduled to take place on July 2015 and July 2016 but later postponed due to resignation of Hon. Jesus S. Far (Social Worker board member) resulting to having no legal quorum to perform duties and functions such as formulation and extraction of test, conduct of examinations, releasing of results, among others.
