MANILA, Philippines - Class and work suspensions on July 28, 2017 (Friday) are announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to inclement weather conditions brought by southwest monsoon or "Habagat" intensified by "Bagyong Gorio". According to PAGASA weather update issued at: 4:00 PM, 27 July 2017,
At 3:00 PM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "Gorio" (Nesat) was estimated based on all available data at 605 East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.8°N 127.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 90 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 115 km/h. It is forecast to move Northwest at 13 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Western Visayas.

Monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides is expected over Metro Manila and the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Central Luzon CALABARZON and the provinces of Mindoro and Palawan. Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Visayas and the rest of Luzon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorm will prevail over Mindanao.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Moderate to occasionally strong winds coming from the southwest to west over the rest of the country with moderate to occasionally rough seas.

  1. quezon city plz naman kahapon quezon city lang meron ang dami na hirapan 5 o clock na nga nag announce may pasok pa nahirapan tuloy nanay ko plz naman sana ngayun i declare niyo na na walang pasok sa quezon city
