How to Claim Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for April 2016 Civil Service Exam (CSE)

MANILA, Philippines – Civil Service Commission (CSC) through Exam Advisory No. 8, series of 2016 announced on Monday that the Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) for Professional and Sub-Professional passers during April 2016 Civil Service Exam – Pencil and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) can already be claimed at any CSC Regional Offices and Field Offices nationwide starting June 29, 2016 (Wednesday).

NORMAL PROCESS OF CLAIMING CoE

According to CSC, passers of professional and subprofessional levels shall claim their CoE at the regional office concerned. Representatives are not allowed to claim.

In doing so, passers shall present a valid ID card which contains the name, date of birth, signature and clear photo. ID cards accepted include the Driver’s License, SSS, GSIS, PhilHealth, Company ID, School ID, Postal ID, Voter’s ID, Passport, PRC ID and Police Clearance. Application receipt can also be brought if available.

CLAIMING CoE AT OTHER REGIONAL OFFICE

CSC said in a post that the passers who already moved to another place can claim their CoE at the nearest CSC Regional Office or Field Offices.

However, they must send a written request or letter to the authorized CSC Regional Office that has jurisdiction over the testing center or venue where they took the exam to forward their CoE to the conduit CSC Regional Office where they would like to claim it. In the written request, they must write the reason for request.

CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY ON SECURITY PAPER

CSC said that apart from the printed Certification, CSE passers may also apply for regular Certification of Eligibility that is printed on security paper, at additional cost.

However, it has additional requirements and procedures. Kindly coordinate at Regional Office concerned for details.

As per CSC, the security paper printed Certification may be more preferred by government agencies as supporting document for employment application and promotion.

To CSC, kailan kaya ang issuance ng id card in replacement of the CoE? at ano yung mga requirements? (kung meron man). Your immediate response will be highly appreciated. Thank you and more powers!

Bakit parang walang balita tungkol sa progress ng ID? Sa main page dito wala manlang nakalagay na progress or ETA kung kailan iimplement ang ID. Sinubukan ko rin mag google search ang ibinigay sakin na results pang 2015 pa. So parang di nila inaasikaso implementation ng cs id.
