Walang Pasok: No Classes July 11, 2016 in Certain Areas

MANILA, Philippines – Due to southwest monsoon rains or “habagat”, classes have already been suspended on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the following areas:

  • Alaminos, Pangasinan – From pre-school to highschool
  • San Carlos, Pangasinan – From pre-school to highschool
  • Iba, Zambales – All levels (public and private)
  • Subic, Zambales – All levels (public and private)
  • Bataan – All levels (public and private)
  • Olongapo City – All levels (public and private)

According to PAG-ASA weather advisory issued July 10, the prevailing Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Tropical Depression will continue to persist over Luzon and Visayas until tomorrow, July 11, 2016.

This will affect the provinces of Bataan, Zambales, Pangasinan and Benguet and bring moderate to heavy rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
