#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions September 30, 2016 (Friday)

MANILA, Philippines – Class suspensions on September 30, 2016 (Friday) might be announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to effects of bad weather conditions brought by Southwestern Monsoon or “Habagat”.

As of 3:00 PM, below is the list of areas with class suspensions on Friday, September 30, 2016.

Meanwhile, cancellation of classes for colleges and universities will be at discretion of school officials/ administrators.

PAGASA WEATHER UPDATE

According to PAGASA weather update issued at: 5:00 AM, 29 September 2016,

Southwest monsoon affecting Luzon and Western Visayas. 

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Mindanao.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over Luzon and Western Visayas. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southeast to south with slight to moderate seas.
