APPLICATION: September 2017 Special Professional Licensure Exam (SPLE) in Middle East

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the application schedule of the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) formerly SPLBE for Middle Eastern countries for the year 2017. As posted, the September 2017 SPLE will be conducted on September 1-3, 2017 in testing locations at the following countries.

Testing Centers

  • Al-Khobar, KSA
  • Jeddah, KSA
  • Riyadh, KSA
  • Doha, Qatar
  • Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
  • Al Ahmadi, Kuwait
  • Muscat, Oman
  • Tel Aviv, Israel


PRC announced that the commission will administer licensure examinations of the following programs on the abovementioned date and locations.

  • Architecture
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Civil Engineering
  • Dentistry
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics Technicians
  • Environmental Planning
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Certified Plant Mechanics
  • Master Plumbing
  • Nursing
  • Registered Electrical Engineering
  • Registered Master Electricians
  • Physical Therapy
  • Professional Teachers/ LET
  • Radiologic Technology
  • X Ray Technology
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Veterinarian

Application Schedule

PRC said that interested applicants shall apply online via SPLE Online Licensure Exam and Registration System.

Upon completion of online application, the applicant shall submit the photocopies of basic and specific requirements together with printed and signed application form at Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLO) on or before June 9, 2017 (deadline).

The list of conditionally approved applicants will be posted at PRC official website which shall then be forwarded to the eight (8) testing locations.


Basic Requirements

  • Printed and signed online application form, signed with thumb mark affixed
  • Photocopy of Transcript of Records with or without scanned picture
  • Photocopy of valid passport
  • Two (2) pieces of passport size picture with complete nametag and white background

Original copies of the documents mentioned above shall be presented by the examinee and will be validated by PRC SPLE team on respective venue of assignment.

Specific Original Required Documents

Aside from the basic requirements posted above, these specific documents required by each regulatory boards shall be secured by the applicant, courtesy of the Professional Regulation Commission.

    I cant finish the application online. There's no date of exam and location. There's also an error message saying that cedula must be on the same year. What should i do? Is there a uae hotline for prc? Thanks.

    I am currently doing my architectural apprenticeship here in the Philippines, and I'm planning to finish the remaining number of hours in Dubai. Is it still valid that half of my apprenticeship hours will be accomplished here, and the other half in Dubai?
