#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions on September 6, 2017 (Wednesday)

MANILA, Philippines – Class and work suspensions on September 6, 2017 (Wednesday) are expected to be announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to inclement weather conditions brought “Bagyong Kiko”.

As of 6:00pm, below is the list of areas with class suspensions on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

PAGASA WEATHER UPDATE

According to PAGASA weather update issued at: 4:00 PM today, 05 September 2017 ,

At 3:00 PM today, Tropical Depression “KIKO” was estimated based on all available data at 310 km Northeast of Tuguegarao City or at 285 km East of Calayan, Cagayan (19.1 N, 124.2 E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kph. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 19 kph.  

Batanes and Northern Cagayan including Babuyan group of Islands Rains will experience gusty winds with possible flash floods over low-lying areas and landslides over mountainous areas. The rest of Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apayao and Abra will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains with thunderstorms, possible flash floods over low-lying areas and landslides over mountainous areas.

Metro Manila, rest of Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Northern Mindanao will be having cloudy skies with light to moderate rains with thunderstorms. Meanwhile, MIMAROPA, rest of Visayas and rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
