MANILA, Philippines – The 'October 2017 Naval Architect and Marine Engineer board exam results' together with the list of passers, top 10 examinees, top performing schools, performance of schools and related announcements are available at this website as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) publish the results online three (3) working days after the last day of board examinations.
As announced, 51 out of 117 passed the exams.
The aforesaid licensure exams are administered by PRC Board of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. William B. Hernandez and its member, Engr. Edward B. Cruz on October 4-6, 2016 at PRC testing center in Manila.

These important registration schedule and requirements shall be secured by a successful examinee.
- The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration start on October 10, 2017.
- Registration requirements: duly accomplished Oath Form, Notice of Admission (NOA), two (2) pieces of colored passport ID picture with white background and nametag and two (2) sets of doc stamps.
RELEASE DATE OF RESULTS
According to the Commission’s Resolution No. 2016-1019 series of 2016 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2017”, the target release date of October 2017 Naval Architect and Marine Engineer result will be on October 6, 2017 (Friday) or two (2) working days after the board exams.
However, the above-mentioned date is not final as PRC may also release the official results earlier or later than the stipulated date without prior notice. Just keep tuning-in at at this article for timely updates.
On the same exams conducted PRC on October 2016 and October 2015, results were out online after two (2) working days.
The three-days board exam covered topics from Mathematics, Hydraulics, Strength of Materials, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and General Engineering; Principles of Marine Engineering including Resistance, Powering, Machinery, Power Plants, Application of Modern Electrical Units, Equipment, Propeller and Shafting; Principles of Naval Architecture including Stability, Flooding and Subdivision, Speed Selection, Weight Estimates, Economics of Operation; Philippine Merchant Marine Regulation and Code of Ethics; and Ship Design, Building and Classing Steel and Wooden Vessels, Construction Methods and Practice.
PREVIOUS ME & CPM EXAMS
Naval Architecture is one of the programs with less number of examinees being administered by PRC.
On the same exams conducted October 2016, 38 out of 99 examinees passed. Juan Julian Rindole Balingbing from NAMEI Polytechnic Institute ranked first in the exams having 88.60% rating followed by Jerick Ivan Hondos Carpeso also from the NAMEI Polytechnic Institute garnering 87.60%.
During the October 2015 Naval Architect & Marine Engineer board exams, 39 out of 77 passed. Viel Russel Reyes Manalo from University of Perpetual Help System Las Piñas ranked first garnering 90.90% rating. He was followed by Jarmine Natividad Perez and Dan Mark Lorenzo Bugarin from NAMEI Polytechnic Institute who got 90.50% and 88.40% respective ratings.
