LIST OF PASSERS: April 15, 2018 Civil Service Exam Results (Special CSE-PPT)

MANILA, Philippines (Released) – The results and list of passers of the April 2018 Special Civil Service Exam for Professional and Subprofessional levels or CSE-PPT including the top examinees and related announcements are released by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) few months after the eligibility exams.

Below is the summary of April 2018 Career Service Exam – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) results for Professional and Subprofessional levels courtesy of CSC.

APRIL 2018 CSE-PPT RESULTS SUMMARY

The exams are administered by the Civil Service Commission on April 15, 2018 at CSC testing centers located in NCR, CAR, CARAGA, ARMM and designated Regional testing centers nationwide.

Note: The total number of Special CSE examinees for both Prof and Subprof levels will be posted at this section as soon as CSC releases the figure.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) said that the results for all regions are expected to be available anytime today, June 14, 2018.

Meanwhile, CSC Region IV in its FB page released the list of passers for Professional and Subprofessional levels prior to posting at CSC official website. Complete lists are posted above.

DETAILS

The scheduled Special Career Service Examination Pen and Paper Tests are for government employees who aren’t eligible yet and want to apply for permanent position or a promotion. The eligibility exams also give opportunities to employees under job order and contract of service.

As per CSC,

The professional eligibility is needed for appointment to second level (technical) positions in the government, requiring at least a bachelor’s degree for education. The Subprofessional eligibility is applicable to first level (clerical) government positions that require less than four years of college studies. The Professional eligibility may also be used for clerical positions. Both eligibilities, though, cannot be used for positions involving practice of profession and those covered by special laws.

CSC’s regular conduct of the Career Service Exam, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), both for Prof and Subprof levels are scheduled twice a year to cater the growing number of examinees. Below is the next schedule of exams.

PREVIOUS EXAMS

On the most recent CSE-PPT exams conducted August 2017, 25,127 out of 228,917 (10.98%) examinees passed. 21,792 out of 196,819 passed in the Professional level while 3,335 out of 32,098 passed in the Subprofessional. Adrian Callagan from Region 2 ranked first in the Prof level garnering 90.87% rating followed by Merynel Gratuito from Bicol Region having 90.27%. In Subprof level, Mark Dave Balmilero from Region 2 ranked first garnering 87.54% followed by Jodi Jill Manikan from Western Visayas having 87.38%.

On CSC exams conducted March 2017, 25,090 out of 219,679 examinees passed or an overall passing rate of 11.42%. 21,640 out of 188,528 examinees passed the Professional level while 3,450 out of 31,169 examinees passed in the Subprofessional. Michael Louie D. Lim from Northern Mindanao ranked first in Professional level garnering 92.45% rating followed by Arvin Lawrence N. Quiñones from National Capital Region (NCR) having 91.17%. In subprofessional, Faye S. Cruz from NCR ranked first having 89.12% followed by Roi Solomon B. Labay also from NCR garnering 88.87%.

During October 2016 CSE-PPT, 203,339 examinees took the exams for Professional and Subprofessional levels. 19, 870 or 11.33% of the total examinees passed in the Professional Level while  22,978 passers or 11.09% passed in the Subprofessional Level. Clinton John Miglana from CARAGA region topped the exams in Professional test having 91.17% rating followed by Joelle Sophia Peña from National Capital Region with a rating of 90.62%. Meanwhile, in Subprofessional level, Dianne Franz Abal from Western Visayas got the highest rating having 86.99% followed by Hazel Pereira from NCR garnering 86.97% rating.

SubProfessional Level (SubProf) – In English and Filipino

The CSC-PPT for Professional level covered 170 test items in 3 hours and 10 minutes while in Subprofessional test, 165 test items in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

To pass the eligibility exams, CSC said that an examinee must obtain an average rating of at least 80.00%.

    ano po ang basehan at tinawag itong special exam? gayong konti rin naman ang nakapasa at kumpara sa mga nakaraang exam ganun din naman kahirap..tsk..tsk..

      special exam, dahil lang po sa schedule, consideration lang sa mga requesting parties at hindi sinabay sa regular schedule na March at August 2018. you're expecting na magiging madali ang exam dahil SPECIAL? well, mali ka po.
