Nursing Board Exam Result June 2018 – NLE List of Passers

MANILA, Philippines (Released) – The June 2018 Nursing Board Exam results or the Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) including the list of passers, top 10 examinees, performance of schools, among other important announcements are available at this website as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the results online nine (9) working days after the last day of board examination.

As announced, 4,326 out of 9,873 passed the exams.

The June 2018 NLE are administered by PRC Board of Nursing (BoN) headed by its Chairman, Glenda S. Arquiza, and its members, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Gloria B. Arcos, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Florence C. Cawaon and Cora A. Añonuevo on June 3 & 4, 2018 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

JUNE 2018 NURSING NLE BOARD EXAM RESULTS SUMMARY

RELEASE DATE OF RESULTS

As per PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068 series of 2017 or the “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2018”, the target release date of June 2018 Nursing board exam (NLE) result will be in thirteen (13) working days after the last day of board examinations or by Friday, June 22, 2018.

UPDATE (June 19): June Nursing board exam results will be released within today, June 19, 2018, as per reliable source.

UPDATE (June 18): NLE/ Nursing result 2018 are expected to be out from June 18-20, 2018. Keep tuning in here for fresh updates.

The computed release date is with respect to two declared nationwide holidays in June 2018. The Independence day on June 12 and the Eidl’ Fitr on June 15.

However, results may also be released earlier or later without prior notice.

On previous NLE exams, results were always released earlier than the target dates.

On the most recent NLE conducted November 2017, results were released after eleven (11) working days. On June 2017, results were out after eight (8) working days while twelve (12) working days during November 2016.


REGISTRATION DATE & REQUIREMENTS

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be from July 2 to July 11, 2018.

PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for all passers effective March 30, 2016. Initial registrants are advised to register online via http://online1.prc.gov.ph, an online application and registration portal of PRC.

Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

EXAMINATION COVERAGE

The two-days NLE for June 2018 covered the following areas:

First Day (Sunday, June 3, 2018)

  • Nursing Practice 1 – Community Health Nursing
  • Nursing Practice 2 – Care of Healthy / At Risk Mother and Child
  • Nursing Practice 3 – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part A)

Second Day (Monday, June 4, 2018)

  • Nursing Practice 4 – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part B)
  • Nursing Practice 5 – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part C)

As per BoN, the test draw basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas specifically in Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, Adults and Aged, and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.

The examination will also test competencies in relation to the eleven (11) key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. Aforesaid key-areas are categorized as follows:

    • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Health Education
  • Empowering Competencies
    • Legal Responsibilities
    • Ethico-Moral-Spiritual Responsibilities

    • Management of Resources and Environment
    • Records Management
  • Enhancing Competencies
    • Research
    • Quality Improvement

Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Nutrition and Diet Therapy and Parasitology and Microbiology are also integrated.

TWO (2) PREVIOUS EXAMS

Nursing is one of the programs with huge number of examinees being administered by PRC.

On the most recent Nursing board exams administered on November 2017, 5,875 out of 12,869 examinees passed. Raymund Kernell Balmaceda Mañago from University of the Philippines – Manila topped the exams having 89.00% rating followed by Veronica Louise Ganalon Necor from University of Santo Tomas (UST) garnering 88.80%. In the top performing schools category, UST ranked first having all of its 300 examinees passed or 100% overall passing rate followed by Saint Louis University having 164 out of its 165 examinees passed or 99.39% passing rate. Complete list of schools’ performance here

On NLE conducted by BoN on June 2017, 3,882 out of 11,176 examinees passed. Mary Angelie Cardente Cabañez from West Visayas State University – La Paz ranked first in the exams garnering 86.20% rating followed by Nona Casey Dela Serna Baring from Cebu Normal University having 85.20%. Xavier University was the top performing school having 100.00% overall passing rate or 60 out of 60 examinees passed followed by West Visayas State University – La Paz having 125 out of 126 examinees passed, 99.21% passing rate. Complete list of schools’ performance is posted here
