MANILA, Philippines – The Ocular Pharmacology board exam results for July 2018 including the official list of passers, top 10 examinees, performance of schools, among other important announcements are available at this website as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the results online seven (7) working days after the exams.
As announced, 8 out of 14 examinees successfully passed the exams.
The licensure examinations are administered by PRC Board of Optometry headed by its Chairman, Dr. Teresita R. Yambot and its members, Dr. Mary Rose S. Paredes, Dr. Maria Elizabeth B. Valconcha, Dr. Bernardita A. Garcia and Dr. Vivian S. Sarabia on July 16, 2018 at PRC testing center in Manila.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
As per PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068 series of 2017 or the “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2018”, the target release date of July 2018 Ocular Pharmacology board exam result will be in three (3) working days after the Optometry board examinations or by Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
However, results may also be released earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.
On the same board exams administered by PRC on November 2016, results were out after two (2) working days.
REGISTRATION DATE & REQUIREMENTS
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced by PRC.
PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for all passers effective March 30, 2016. Initial registrants are advised to register online via http://online1.prc.gov.ph, an online application and registration portal of PRC.
Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
Ocular Pharmacology is one of the programs with less number of examinees being administered by PRC. On November 2016, 3 out of 11 examinees passed while on May 2016, 6 out of 19 examinees passed.
