#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions on July 17, 2018 (Tuesday)

MANILA, Philippines - Class suspensions on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 are announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to inclement weather conditions brought by southwest moonsoon or "Habagat" intensified by Tropical Depression "Henry".

Here's the live list of class/ work suspensions as declared by respective LGUs on July 17, 2018.

METRO MANILA

PROVINCES
Cancellation of classes for colleges and universities will be at discretion of school officials/ administrators. PAGASA WEATHER UPDATE

According to PAGASA weather update issued at 11:00 AM, 16 July 2018.
"Henry" has slightly accelerated as it moves westward towards extreme northern Luzon. 
"HENRY" is expected to pass in the vicinity of the Babuyan Group of Islands tonight (16 July). 
Occasional rains with gusty winds are expected over the areas under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) #1. 
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring monsoon rains over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro Provinces, Palawan and Western Visayas, and scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the rest of Luzon. Residents of these areas, especially those living in low-lying and mountainous areas, are advised to continue monitoring for updates, coordinate with their local disaster risk reduction and management offices, and take appropriate actions against possible flooding and landslides. 
Fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the seaboards of areas under TCWS #1 and the western seaboard of Luzon due to moderate to rough seas associated with the approaching Tropical Depression and the Southwest Monsoon.
Signal No. 1 was raised at Batanes, northern portion of Cagayan including Babuyan Group of Islands, northern portion of Apayao, and northern portion of Ilocos Norte.
