#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions on July 26, 2018 (Thursday)

MANILA, Philippines – Class suspensions on Thursday, July 26, 2018 are announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to inclement weather conditions brought by Southwest Monsoon or “Habagat” resulting to flooding.

As per latest PAGASA weather report, the areas of Metro Manila,  Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Western Visayas will experience occasional rains.

Here’s the live list of class/ work suspensions on July 26, 2018 as declared by respective LGUs.


METRO MANILA

  • No announcements yet as of this writing


PROVINCES

  • Abucay, Bataan – kindergarten to senior highschool
  • Dagupan City, Pangasinan – all levels (public and private)
  • Masantol, Pampanga – all levels (public and private)

Cancellation of classes for colleges and universities will be at discretion of school officials/ administrators.

PAGASA WEATHER UPDATE

According to PAGASA weather update issued at 4:00 AM today, 25 July 2018.

As of today, there is no Tropical Cyclone within Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.   

Tropical Storm “Jongdari” is now located 1,515 km East of Extreme Northern Luzon (Outside PAR) has maximum sustain winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It’s now moving northwest at 15 kph.
