#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions on August 15, 2018 (Wednesday)

MANILA, Philippines – Class suspensions on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 are announced at certain areas by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to bad weather conditions brought by Southwest Monsoon or “Habagat” resulting to flooding.

Here’s the live list of class/ work suspensions on August 15, 2018 as declared by respective LGUs.

Cancellation of classes for colleges and universities will be at discretion of school officials/ administrators.

PAGASA WEATHER UPDATE

According to PAGASA weather update issued at 4:00 AM today, 14 August 2018.

At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 760  km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes. 

Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon. Meanwhile, Severe Tropical Storm “LEEPI” was  estimated based on all available data at 1,775 km East Northeast of  Extreme Northern  Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) with maximum sustained winds of 90 km/h with gustiness of up to 115 km/h. It is  moving North at 25 km/h.  

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Zambales, and Bataan will experience monsoon rains while Metro Manila, Occidental Mindoro,CALABARZON and the rest of Central Luzon will experience occasional rains.
