PRC: Mechanical Engineer board exam result August 2019, released in four (4) working days

Congratulations to the new engineers!

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3,928 out of 5,563 (70.61%) passed the Mechanical Engineer (ME) while 59 out of 137 (43.07%) hurdled the Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM) board exams held this August 2019. The licensure exams were administered in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Lucena and Tacloban.

Mechanical Engineer board exam results were released on August 31, 2019 or four (4) working days after the exams.

The members of the board of Mechanical Engineering who gave the exams are Engr. Jesus M. Redelosa, Chairman and Engr. Jerico T. Borja and Engr. Lorenzo P. Larion, members.

Lester Corpin Toledo from Cebu Institute of Technology University topped the ME exams garnering a rating of 94.65% followed by Hutch Niño Valles from Bulacan State University having 94.05%. See the details here.

Here is the list of top performing schools in the August 2019 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058(C) series of 2017.

Ranking in the first two (2) places are Batangas State University – Alangilan having 100% passing rate and University of the Philippines Diliman having 97.33%. while in the Certified Plant Mechanic, four schools shared the top spot having 100% passing rate namely Central Philippine University, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, FEU-Institute of Technology and Ateneo de Davao University. To all successful ME and CPM examinees, the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line from September 2-6, September 9-10 and September 16-20, 2019.

The instructions on initial registration will found at PRC official website.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • Downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 
  • Notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps 
  • 1 piece short brown envelope.  

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
