LIST, ROOM ASSIGNMENT: LET September 2019, Teachers Board Exam

MANILA, Philippines  – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Professional Teachers released the room assignments for September 2019 LET or Licensure Exam for Teachers (Elementary and Secondary levels) few weeks before the exams.

The board exam is scheduled to take place on September 29, 2019 at PRC testing centers in Manila; Zamboanga; Bacolod; Rosales, Pangasinan; Laoag; General Santos City; and all Regional Offices nationwide.

SEPTEMBER 2019 LET RESULTS SUMMARY

Update September 26, 2019: Legazpi LET room assignments are now available for viewing.

Update September 25, 2019: Masbate room assignments are now out.

Update September 24, 2019: Pagadian, Cebu (Secondary), Pampanga, General Santos, Kidapawan, Davao, Zamboanga room assignmetns are now available for viewing.

Update September 23, 2019: Cebu, Catarman, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro (CDO) LET room assignments now available.

Update September 20, 2019: Manila, Pagadian Room Assignments for Sept 2019 LET are now ready for viewing.

Update September 19, 2019: Bacolod and Iloilo room assignments for September 2019 LET are now available.

Update September 18, 2019: Batanes, Tuguegarao, Baguio, Laoag and Rosales room assignments are out.

Update September 17, 2019: Palawan room assignments for September 2019 BLEPT are released.

Update September 12, 2019: Lucena, Romblon, Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro room assignments for LET Sept. 2019 are now available.

Update September 11, 2019: Butuan LET room assignments for September 2019 are out!

LET are among the programs with huge number of examinees being administered by PRC. On the most recent LET conducted on March 2019, 19,659 elementary teachers out of 72,054 examinees (27.28%) and 22,271 secondary teachers out of 85,823 examinees (25.95%) successfully passed.

EXAMINATION REMINDERS

As posted by PRC, examinees shall bring the following requirements on examination proper. The Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt, Pencils No. 1 or 2/ Black ink ballpen, metered stamped mailing envelope, long brown and plastic/transparent envelopes.

PRC reminds examinees to report before 6:30 in the morning on the said date because late comers will not be admitted, examination fees for late examinees will also be forfeited.

Examinees are advised to verify their application number on the day of examination from room watchers/proctors assigned to the room.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS

Below is the detailed list of room assignments for the testing locations mentioned in the September 2019 LET, courtesy of PRC:

DRESS CODE

Examinees shall adhere to the attire set by the Professional Regulation Commission.

For male examinees, plain white polo shirt with collar without any seal, logo or marks partnered with decent pants or slacks. For female, plain white blouse or shirt with collar without any seal, logo or marks partnered with decent skirt or slacks.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Take note of the prohibitions during the exams. These include bringing of books, notes, review materials and other printed materials containing coded information; programmable calculators; gadgets which include cellular phones, smartwatch, ear plugs and related electronic devices; any kind of bag. Likewise, PRC will not be responsible for any prohibited items which will be lost during the exams.

The Licensure Exam for Teachers or LET for September 2019 covered the following topics:

General Education (GenEd)

  • English – Study and Thinking Skills, Writing in the Discipline, Speech and Oral Communication, Philippine Literature and Master Works of the World
  • Filipino – Komunikasyon sa Akademikong Pilipino, Pagbasa at Pagsulat sa Panananaliksik at Masining na Pagpapahayag
  • Mathematics – Fundamentals of Math, Plane Geometry, Elementary Algebra and Statistics and Probability
  • Science – Biological Science – General Biology, Physical Science with Earth Science
  • Social Sciences – Philippine Government New Constitution with Human Rights, Philippine History, Basic Economics, Taxation, Agrarian Reform, Society, Culture with Family Planning; Rizal and other Heroes, Philosophy of Man, Arts, General Psychology and Information and Communication Technology

Professional Education (ProfEd)

  • Teaching Profession, Social Dimensions of Education
  • Principles of Teaching, Educational Technology and Curriculum Development
  • Facilitating Learning, Child and Adolescent Development
  • Assessment of Student Learning, Developmental Reading
  • Field Study and Practice Teaching

Specialized and concrete subjects were covered in the examinations for the field of specialization specifically in English, Filipino, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies and Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and Technology and Livelihood Education.
