  2. Hi, is it true that PRC will be releasing calculators with a seal to prevent any modifications? If so, when and how will we be able to purchase it

  4. Hope this release of notice be enacted for the next year board exam not prior to this immediate upcoming exam. Most are not ready.

1 month notice before the enactment? October 7, 2019 PRC released the notice and will be applied to this upcoming November 2019 Civil engineering exam.

Hope ypu could consider the examinees situation. Such short time to practice those calculators and some have no calculator kasi Now, some of those calculators are face out in Philippines. You need po to consider this issue. Hope PRC amend that notice. I believe all government office acts upon what's best for all. Thanks and more powers.

  5. Why don't the PRC just supply the calculator units during the exam to prevent cheating? The use of calculators are a must during the exam not because of the lack of competency of the examinees but due to the length of coverage of the exam and time limit imposed by the PRC. If there are no time limit during the exam even an examinee with a slide rule can finish the test.

  10. As if banning 991 and 570 will really help to improve the passing rates. Try improving your security, instead of banning and downgrading the calcu models.
