MANILA – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) thru PRC Board of Professional Teachers Resolution No. 15 series of 2022 entitled “Clarification on the Implementation of the Enhanced Tables of Specifications for the Subjects of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers Under Board Resolution No. 11 (s. 2022)” specified that the graduates of BEEd and BSEd in the year 2021 to 2022 under the new curriculum will not be admitted to apply/take the September 2022 LET and will only be allowed to take the LET starting 2023.
Emphasized are the following important items:
a) The following BEEd and BSEd graduates shall be allowed to take the September 2022 LEPT:
- Those who graduated in year 2020 or earlier under the old curriculum;
- Those who graduated in year 2021 onwards under the old curriculum;
b) The BEEd and BSEd graduates of year 2021 onwards and under the new curriculum shall not be eligible to take the September 2022 LEPT and are advised to apply in the next schedule of the LEPT starting year 2023;
c) The 2023 LEPT and its succeeding schedules shall be open to all BEEd and BSEd graduates, regardless of the year of their graduation. The graduates of BEEd and BSEd prior to the issuance of CHED Memorandum Order Nos. 74 and 75 and those who were affected by the Teacher Education Institutions’ late implementation of the new curriculum are encouraged to take refresher course/s to bridge the gap in knowledge and learning outcomes between the old and the new curricula;
d) For graduates of equivalent baccalaureate courses with eighteen (18) units of education, only those who have taken or earned their eighteen (18) education units under the old curriculum shall be admitted to the September 2022 LEPT, while, those under the new curriculum shall be allowed to take the LEPT starting year 2023.

If you have taken your 18 education units under the old curriculum and just graduated in January 2022, you should take the LEPT this September 2022 and pass it. Otherwise, you will be encouraged to take refresher courses. Thank you.

Hello po, ako ay under po ng old curriculum po May 2021 po ang graduation namin. Hindi po ba kami makakasama sa mag e-exam this September? Nakapag file na po kasi ako last April 28 may NOA na din po ako. Sana naman po payagan na po kami kasi po Hindi po biro yung paghihintay namin dito. Hindi naman po namin kasalanan nagkaroon ng pandemic kaya nasa po may konsidersyon kayo sa amin ng mga graduate ng batch 2021. How about po yung nag earn ng units ng 1st Semester SY 2020-2021? 1 SEM lang po yun. December 2020 natapos. pwede pa po ba maka pag take ng LET sa September?

Same Concern with others who commented above. I am also a graduate of June 2021 and an under the Old Curriculum. So does this mean that we can take the exam this September? Since it’s indicated above that only those who are under New Curriculum cannot take this September 2022 LET.

Goodday Maam/Sir, even though our subject was under old curriculun (Revised Curriculum K to conform w/ CMO #30,s.2004; Revised as June 2016)
we really cannot take the LET Examination?
We became under the old curriculum because our school still offer old curriculum last 2017, they have offer new curriculum “CMO Nos. 74 and 75 (s. 2017)” in the year 2018.
I hope you will give us consideration because our subjects were all under old curriculum.

Good day! Graduates of year 2021 are under OLD CURRICULUM. Bakit po kailangan na namin na isabay sa NEW CURRICULUM? Hindi man lng kami nabigyan ng pagkakataon na magtake ng LEPT for OLD CURRICULUM. Ako po ay 2022 graduate pero old curriculum po dapat po noong 2021 pa po kami grumaduate dahil sa na delay po yung PT namin na extend po kami at kakagraduate lang namin ngayong 2022 so ibig sabihin po noon we’re not elegible po talaga?
