Manila, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the schedule of online application, deadline of filing, as well as requirements for application in November 2020 Civil Engineering (CE) Licensure Examination.
The board exams for aspiring civil engineers will be held on November 15 & 16, 2020 at designated testing locations in Manila/NCR, Zamboanga, and all regional offices nationwide.
Update May 8, 2020: PRC announced the new/re-scheduled dates of all postponed/cancelled board exams from March to June 2020 due to Enhanced Community Quanrantine brought by COVID-19 pandemic.
Likewise, those applicants who already have filed their application for examination and issued the Notice of Admission (NOA) will no longer be required to file a new application.

CIVIL ENGINEERING BOARD EXAM ONLINE APPLICATION 2020
The 2020 CE board exam applicants are likewise advised to apply online via https://online1.prc.gov.ph/ or https://online.prc.gov.ph/ before going to the venue. Applicants are also encouraged to pay through UCPB (over-the-counter), Land Bank (i-access), or PayMaya.

PRC also reminds applicants to secure all requirements before proceeding to PRC centers for further processing of applications and also avoid further inconvenience.
- NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
- NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
- Transcript of Records (TOR) with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes” (first timers and repeaters)
- Valid NBI Clearance (first timers and repeaters)
- Two (2) Certificates of Good Moral Character from any 2 of the following:
- Barangay
- Church
- School
- Employer
- Payment of 900 pesos – complete

- Hydraulics and Geotechnical Engineering (Fluid Properties; Hydrostatic Pressures; Fluid Flow; Buoyancy and Flotation; Relative equilibrium of Liquids; Hydrodynamics; Water Supply Soil Properties; Soils Classification; Fluid Flow through Soil Mass; Stresses in Soil Mass; Soil Strength and Tests; Bearing Capacity; Compaction; Consolidation and Settlement; Lateral Earth Pressures; Slope Stability) 30%

PREVIOUS CIVIL ENGINEERING BOARD EXAMS
In the recent Civil Engineering board exams conducted on November 2019, 6,510 out of 15,075 (43.18%) examinees passed. Lou Mervin Tristan Pua Mahilum from University of San Carlos ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 93.25% followed by Jeremy Recinto Rifareal from Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Lopez having 93.10%. Carlos A. Hilado Memorial State College Talisay was the top performing school garnering a rating of 98.00% followed by University of the Philippines – Los Baños having 96.92%.
During May 2019, 3,372 out of 8,855 (38.08%) examinees passed. Ronie Tanilon Tarriga II from University of Cebu clinched the top spot having 95.20% followed by John Francis Viloria Pedroso from Mindanao State University – Gen. Santos City garnering 94.60% and Reymart Arcenal Refil from Cebu Institute of Technology University having 94.15%. De La Salle University (DLSU) – Manila was the top performing school having 90.29% overall passing rate followed by Mapua University – Manila having 80.65%.
During November 2018 civil engineer licensure exam, 6,262 out of 13,887 (45.09%) examinees passed. Jaydee Niere Lucero from University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 97.20% followed by Norejun de Guzman Osial from Bicol University – Legazpi having 96.50%. In the top performing schools’ list, University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) ranked first garnering 98.63% overall rating followed by Carlos A. Hilado Memorial State College – Talisay having 96.08% and University of the Philippines – Diliman having 92.11%.
On May 2018 CE, 2,738 out of 7,599 (36.03%) examinees passed. Renz Rodney Sarile Fernandez from Western Mindanao State University in Zamboanga City ranked first in the exams garnering 93.55% rating followed by alumni of Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila, Garret Patrick Satsatin Baluyot and John Victor Juvida Lau having 93.25% and 93.05% respective ratings. De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila was the lone school in the top performing schools list having an overall passing rate of 88.14%.
On November 2017 exams, 6,075 out of 12,447 (48.81%) examinees successfully passed. Nikho Lawrence Ramos Corres from UP Diliman ranked first in the exams garnering 97.90% rating followed by Hans Lawrence Eugenio Dela Cruz from Technological Institute of the Philippines – Manila having 97.55%. UP Diliman was the top performing school November 2017 CE exams having 97.41% overall passing rate followed by UPLB having 96.55% and Bohol Island State University Tagbilaran having 87.04%.
During May 2017 exams, 2,514 out of 6,998 (35.92%) examinees passed. Hisham Adiong Sacar from Far Eastern University (FEU) – Institute of Technology ranked first in the exams garnering 94.60% rating followed by Christian Paul Dela Cruz Sanguyo from Mapua Institute of Technology – Manila having 93.55%. DLSU Manila was the lone school in the top performing schools list having 86 out of 105 examinees passed or an overall passing rate of 81.90%.
On November 2016 CE exams, 5,036 out of 10,972 (45.90%) examinees passed. Sirven Carandang Garibay from UPLB ranked first garnering 93.20% rating. He was followed by Samuel Eliezer Yu Uy and Selina Dianne King Bernardo, both from University of San Carlos having 92.75% and 92.65% ratings. UP Diliman and UPLB got the first two spots in the top performing schools having 96.08% and 95.16% overall respective passing rate.
