MANILA, Philippines (Released 12/07/2018) – The November 2018 Nursing Board Exam results or the Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) including the list of passers, top 10 examinees, performance of schools, among other important announcements are available at this website as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the results online 14 working days after the last day of board examination.
As announced, 4,811 out of 12,033 examinees successfully passed the exams.
The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
The November 2018 NLE are administered by PRC Board of Nursing (BoN) headed by its Chairman, Glenda S. Arquiza, and its members, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Gloria B. Arcos, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Florence C. Cawaon and Cora A. Añonuevo on November 17 & 18, 2018 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

RELEASE DATE OF RESULTS
As per PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068 series of 2017 or the “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2018”, the target release date of November 2018 Nursing board exam (NLE) result will be in fourteen (14) working days after the last day of board examinations or by Friday, December 7, 2018.
The computed release date is with respect to a declared nationwide holidays in November 2018, the Bonifacio day on November 30.
However, results may also be released earlier or later without prior notice.
On previous NLE exams, results were always released earlier than the target dates.
On the most recent NLE conducted on June 2018, results were released after nine (9) working days. On November 2017, results were out after eleven (11) working days while on June 2017, results were out after eight (8) working days.
REGISTRATION DATE & REQUIREMENTS
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be from December 19, 2018 to January 11, 2019.
PRC is strictly implementing the online registration system for all passers effective March 30, 2016. Initial registrants are advised to register online via http://online.prc.gov.ph, an online application and registration portal of PRC.
Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
EXAMINATION COVERAGE
The two-days NLE for November 2018 covered the following areas:
First Day (Saturday, November 17, 2018)
- Nursing Practice 1 – Community Health Nursing
- Nursing Practice 2 – Care of Healthy / At Risk Mother and Child
- Nursing Practice 3 – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part A)
Second Day (Sunday, November 18, 2018)
- Nursing Practice 4 – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part B)
- Nursing Practice 5 – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part C)
As per BoN, the test draw basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the major subject areas specifically in Fundamentals of Nursing including Professional Adjustments, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health and Communicable Disease Nursing, Nursing of Adolescents, Adults and Aged, and Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.
The examination will also test competencies in relation to the eleven (11) key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. Aforesaid key-areas are categorized as follows:

Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Nutrition and Diet Therapy and Parasitology and Microbiology are also integrated.
TWO (2) PREVIOUS EXAMS
Nursing is one of the programs with huge number of examinees being administered by PRC.
In the most recent Nursing board exam conducted on June 2018, 4,326 out of 9,873 examinees passed. Mark Tristan Pangilinan Bobosa from University of Pangasinan ranked first in the exams garnering 87.60% followed by Andrew Rey Lao Del Fierro and Philip Gabriel Gillegao Gimotea from Xavier University, both having 87.20% rating. During November 2017 NLE, 5,875 out of 12,869 examinees passed. Raymund Kernell Balmaceda Mañago from University of the Philippines – Manila topped the exams having 89.00% rating followed by Veronica Louise Ganalon Necor from University of Santo Tomas (UST) garnering 88.80%.
