CPA Board Exam Results October 2018 Released in Six (6) Working Days

Manila, Philippines – The October 2018 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure exam results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Accountancy (BoA) on October 23, 2018 or six (6) working days after the last day of board examinations. A total of 3,616 out of 14,358 examinees (25.18%) passed the CPALE held on October 6, 7 & 13, 2018 at designated testing centers nationwide.

STATISTICS – CPA RESULTS

Licensure Examination for CPAs are held twice a year for aspiring Certified Public Accountants.

For October 2018, a total of 25.18 % overall passing rate was recorded. 3.74% lower than the most recent CPA exams (May 2018) having 28.92% overall passing rate. Shown below is the statistical table of examinees for CPAs in the last four (4) years.

TOP PERFORMING SCHOOL/ TOP EXAMINEES

Lahaira Amy Cayog Reyes from University of Santo Tomas (UST) ranked first in the CPA exams garnering 91.83% rating followed by Erick Jan Solano Sagot from Ateneo de Daval University garnering 91.17%.

Meanwhile, University of the Philippines Diliman ranked first in the list of top performing schools having 94.52% overall passing rate followed by De La Salle University – Manila having 86.84%.
