Manila, Philippines – The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has postponed the exams for PNP Entrance and Promotional categories scheduled on April 2020 following the Proclamation No. 922 signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte declaring a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines and calling for the implementation of urgent, critical measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The first schedule of NAPOLCOM exams is scheduled to take place on April 26, 2020 at all designated Regional testing centers nationwide.
To quote from NAPOLCOM,
“In compliance with Proclamation No. 922 signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, dated March 8, 2020, declaring a state of public emergency throughout the Philippines and calling for the implementation of urgent critical measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) suspends the conduct of the April 26, 2020 PNP Entrance and Promotional Exams until further notice. The processing of the applications for examinations shall continue until March 25, 2020 as scheduled.”
When will be the new/re-scheduled date of April 2020 NAPOLCOM exams? This information will also be fed to the public as soon as NAPOLCOM issued an official announcement.
CSC AND PRC POSTPONEMENT/CANCELLATION OF EXAMS
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has already postponed on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 all scheduled board exams on March 2020 and April 2020 due to COVID-19. These include the Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Profesisonals, Physician Licensure Exam (PLE), Medical Technologist (MedTech), Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), Electronics Engineering and Electronics Technician (ECE & ECT), Midwives, Registered Electrical Engineering and Registered Master Electrician (REE & RME) and Pharmacist.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has also postponed the conduct of the Civil Service Exam (CSE) scheduled on March 15, 2020 following the proclamation of the President regarding Coronavirus.
