#WalangPasok: Class Suspension for Saturday, August 13, 2016

MANILA, Philippines – Due to heavy rains brought by “Habagat” or Southwest monsoon, Local Government Units (LGUs) at certain areas in Manila, Luzon and affected provinces have already declared class suspensions for Saturday, August 13, 2016.

Those with classes tomorrow, here are the areas with cancellations of classes.

Metro Manila

  • Caloocan City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Quezon City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Malabon City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Mandaluyong City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Manila – All Levels Public and Private
  • Marikina City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Navotas City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Pasay City – All Levels Public and Private
  • San Juan City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Taguig City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Valenzuela  City – All Levels Public and Private

Provincial

  • Antipolo City – All Levels Public and Private
  • Cainta, Rizal – All Levels Public and Private
  • San Mateo, Rizal – All Levels Public and Private
  • Cavite Province – All Levels Public and Private
  • Bataan Province – All Levels Public and Private
  • Zambales – All Levels Public and Private
  • Olongapo City  – All Levels Public and Private

    Meanwhile, PAG-ASA announced that the LPA was estimated at 205 km North of Itbayat, Batanes (22.6ºN, 121.5ºE). Southwest Monsoon is affecting Luzon and Western Visayas.

    Monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides will be experienced over the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Pangasinan, Mindoro, Palawan, Cavite and Batangas. Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over the rest of the country.

    Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

      I am a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and I took up Professional Education Course and I see here that majorship for my degree is Mathematics. Is there any way po ba na magswitch ng major like English or Social Studies?
