August 2021 Architect Licensure Exam (ALE) Results, Passers

MANILA, Philippines (Released September 6) – The August 2021 Architecture Licensure Exam (ALE) results including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Architecture in five (5) working days after the last day of exams.

As announced, 560 out of 849 successfully passed the exams.

The Architect board exam was conducted on August 27 & 29, 2021 at several testing centers located at Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban and Zamboanga. The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Architecture Chairman, Robert S. Sac and its member, Robert M. Mirafuente.

Pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 134 (s. 2021), PRC has cancelled the conduct of Architecture board exams in Metro Manila due to the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ).

ALE 2021 Updates

September 6, 2021: ALE September 2021 results are out! Congratulations to all passers!

1st update: Architecture board exam results are expected to be released within today. However, it may also be released later than the target. As with previous LEA results, those were released in three (3) working days.

September 1, 2021: Per PRC target dates of release, LEA results August 2021 are expected to be posted by this week. Stand by for developments.

Release of Results

Referring to the results of the previous Architecture licensure exams, taking into consideration the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the estimated target release stated in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the August 2021 Architecture board exam results are estimated to be released in 3-4 working days or longer, after the last day of board exams. Stand by from September 1, 2021.

PRC may also release the Architect board results for August 2021 earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Architects will be from October 11 to October 14, 2021.

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

• Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
• Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
• Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
• One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the Architecture licensure exams will be available online few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed Architects will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and  select “e-OATH” as transaction.

Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

LEA Summary (Stats)

Architecture board exam is one of the programs with average number of examinees conducted by PRC.

The previous LEA was held on January 2020. During these exams, 1,242 out of 2,229 (55.72%) examinees passed.

Rhicel Gonzales Sapasap from Saint Louis University ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 84.00% followed by Megan Joyce Herrera Cruz form University of the Philippines Diliman and Denzel Lance Leon Dantis from Mapua University Manila, both having 83.20%

University of Santo Tomas was the top performing school having an overall passing rate of 85.19%.
