MANILA, Philippines (Released January 27, 2022) – The January 2022 Architecture Licensure Exam (ALE/ LEA) results including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Architecture in four (4) working days after the last day of exams.
As announced, 1,370 out of 2,205 (62.13%) examinees successfully passed the exams. “The results of examination with respect to nine (9) examinees were withheld as per Board Resolution No. 02 dated January 27, 2022.”
The Architect board exam was conducted on January 21 & 23, 2022 at testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Architecture Chairman, Robert S. Sac and its member, Robert M. Mirafuente.

Release of Results
Referring to the results of the previous Architect licensure exams, taking into consideration the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the estimated target release date stated in the PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021 entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2022“, the Architect board exam results are estimated to be released in 3-4 working days or longer, after the last day of board exams. Stand by from January 26-27, 2022.

PRC may also release the Architect board results for January 2022 earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.
Schedule of Registration
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Architects will be from March 7 to March 15, 2022.
Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The verification of ratings and test results for the Architecture licensure exams will be available online few working days after the posting of results.
Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.
Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed Architects will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as transaction.
Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

LEA Summary (Stats)
Architecture board exam is one of the programs with average number of examinees conducted by PRC.
In the most recent exams held on August 2021, 560 out of 849 examinees passed. Benson Heinrick Booc Go from University of San Carlos (USC) ranked first in the exams, having a rating of 83.50% followed by Mark Anthony Veloso Flordelis, also from USC having 83.40%.
During the January 2020 LEA, 1,242 out of 2,229 (55.72%) examinees passed. Rhicel Gonzales Sapasap from Saint Louis University ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 84.00% followed by Megan Joyce Herrera Cruz form University of the Philippines Diliman and Denzel Lance Leon Dantis from Mapua University Manila, both having 83.20%. University of Santo Tomas was the top performing school having an overall passing rate of 85.19%.
