MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has lifted the cancellation of the September 2021 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME) licensure exams in Cebu.
To quote,
The Professional Regulation Commission informs the public that the September 5, 6, and 7, 2021 Licensure Examination for Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) in Cebu shall proceed as scheduled. All examinees are reminded to strictly adhere to the minimum health standards set by the Department of Health and Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Meanwhile, the conduct of Electrical Engineering board exam will also be held at other testing locations including National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga will proceed as scheduled.
The September 2021 electrical engineering licensure exam will be conducted on September 5, 6, and 7, 2021 by the Board for Electrical Engineering headed by its Chairman, Engr. Francis V. Mapile and its member, Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza.
Several board exams scheduled on first and second quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.
