MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) releases the result of August 2019 Civil Service Exam (CSE) Subprofessional Level in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) within 60 days after the exams. August 2019 CSE result also includes all passers for all regions both for Prof and subprof categories.
CSE-PPT for Professional and Subprofessional levels are eligibility exams conducted by CSC twice a year to cater the growing number of individuals who wish to serve in Philippine government.
The civil service exams are administered by CSC on August 4, 2019 at testing locations around the country specifically in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), CARAGA, Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Southern Tagalog Region (MIMAROPA/ CALABARZON), Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN.

Individual test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) shall be available 15 days after the release of the official list of passers.
Certification of Eligibility for passers (printed on CSC letterhead, free of charge) shall be issued through the CSC Regional Offices. The exact date will be announced by CSC along with result. CSE Passers may also opt to apply for regular Certification of Eligibility (printed on security paper at cost).
Passers must personally claim their Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional Office concerned. Representatives are NOT allowed to claim on behalf of the passers. Please bring at least one (1) valid I.D. card.
Civil Service Exam is an eligibility test for Filipino citizens who want to work in the government. This aims to gauge the preparedness of examinees in working with the Philippine government.
CSE-PPT for subprofessional level covered topics from numerical ability which consists of the basic operations and word problems, clerical ability comprising of filing and spelling, logic and data interpretation and verbal ability involving the grammar and correct usage, vocabulary, paragraph organization and reading comprehension.
Also included are the general information questions consisting the Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees RA No. 6713, Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts, Environment Management and Protection.
PASSING RATE
To pass the August 2019 Civil Service Exams, a CSE-PPT taker must have a general rating of 80.00%.
In the most recent CSE conducted on March 2019, 27,944 out of 264,473 (10.57%) combined examinees hurdled the exams. 3,640 were the new subprofessional level eligibles.
