CBLE RESULTS: November 2022 Customs Broker Board Exam Passers

MANILA, Philippines – The November 2022 Customs Broker Licensure Exam CBLE results, including the complete list of board passers, top 10 examinees, and overall performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board for Customs Broker in two (2) working days after the last day of exams.

PRC announces that 873 out of 1,879 examinees successfully passed the exams.

The Licensure Exam for Customs Brokers was conducted on November 3-4, 2022, at testing centers in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao. The November 2022 CBLE was headed by the Board for Customs Broker, Hon. Samuel C. Bautista, Chairman, and its members, Hon. Nenette T. Dagondon and Hon. Albert V. Cruz.

Release of Results

The November 2022 CBLE results including the complete Customs Broker board exam list of passers are expected to be released on November 9-10, 2022, 2-3 working days after the administration of exams, referenced to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021. Congratulations in advance to the new Licensed Customs Brokers!

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Customs Brokers will be held on the following date(s):

Date(s) of Registration: December 19 to December 23, 2022

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the licensure exam for customs brokers given by the PRC Board for Customs Brokers will be available online a few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

The oath-taking ceremony for newly Licensed Customs Brokers can be done online, now referred to as the “e-oath.” The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal at https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as a transaction.

Inductees are required to print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

Meanwhile, PRC has started scheduling face-to-face oath-taking for newly licensed professionals. This section will be updated should PRC conduct face-to-face oath-taking for new CBLE 2022 passers.

Coverage of Customs Broker Licensure Exams

The November 2022 Customs Broker board exams covered topics from customs laws, rules, regulations, ethics, and customs broker practices, customs documentation, clearance and procedures, tariff laws, rules, regulations, and international trade and classification and practical computations.

Customs Broker Board Exams Summary (Stats)

The Customs Broker board exam is one of the programs with an average number of examinees conducted by PRC.

During the previous CBLE held on November 2021, 282 out of 821 (34.35%) examinees passed. Jo Justin Lumongsod Ochea from the University of Cebu in Lapulapu & Mandaue ranked first in the exams garnering an 87.00% rating, followed by Genemae Seguido Caliwan from the University of Cebu and Jun Verginesa Suarez from Gordon College, having 86.25%.

On November 2019, 1,166 out of 2,909 (40.08%) hurdled the exams. Illya Kai Katipunan Quilario from Lyceum of the Philippines University – Manila ranked first in the exams garnering a rating of 92.00% followed by Charles Adriane De Los Reyes Moteras from Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas Inc. having 91.25%. International School of Asia and the Pacific was the top performing school having 80.56 overall passing rate.
