CELE RESULTS April 2024: Civil Engineer Board Exam, List of Passers

CELE RESULTS 2024 – The April 2024 Civil Engineer Licensure Exam results, list of passers, topnotchers, and top schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) four (4) working days after the licensure exams.

PRC announced that 6,680 out of 17,010 (39.27%) examinees passed the April 2024 Civil Engineering Licensure Exams/ CELE. “The results of examination with respect to twenty (20) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.”

The Civil Engineering Board exam took place on April 20-21, 2024, at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The Board of Civil Engineering is headed by its Chairman, Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo, and its members, Engr. Pericles P. Dakay and Engr. Romeo A. Estañero.

Release of Results

The April 2024 Civil Engineering Licensure Exam (CELE) results are scheduled for release on April 25, 2024, according to PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023.

However, the release of Civil Engineer Board Exam results may vary, occurring earlier or later than the estimated date. During the November 2023 CELE, results were released after five (5) working days. Schedule of Registration

The schedule for online appointments to obtain the Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the newly licensed Civil Engineers will be held on these date(s):

PRC advises online registration through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow these steps for online registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:

1. Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
2. Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
3. Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
4. Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
5. One (1) short brown envelope

PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of civil engineering licensure exam ratings and test results will be accessible online a few days after the results are posted.

Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their pass rate in the board examination.

As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oath-Taking

All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM of the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to attend the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official website.

Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.

The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oathtaking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing the online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

Coverage of Exams

The April 2024 civil engineering licensure exam covered the following topics:

• Mathematics, Surveying and Transportation Engineering (algebra, plane and spherical trigonometry, analytics, descriptive and solid geometry, differential and integral calculus, highway and railroad surveying, plane topographic and hydrographic surveying, advanced surveying, design and construction of highways and railroads, piers, ports and wharves)
• Hydraulics and Geotechnical Engineering (fluid properties, hydrostatic pressures, fluid flow, buoyancy and flotation, relative equilibrium of liquids, hydrodynamics, water supply soil properties, soil classification, fluid through soil mass, stresses in soil mass, soil strength and tests, bearing capacity, compaction, consolidation and settlement, lateral earth pressures and slope stability)
• Structural Engineering and Construction (engineering mechanics, strength of materials, theory of structures, analysis and design of concrete, steel, timber structures and foundation with the application of the governing codes of practice)

Previous Exams – Statistics

The Civil Engineering board exam is one of the programs with a huge number of examinees administered by PRC.

In the most recent CELE held last year, 6,180 out of 18,582 (33.26%) examinees passed the exams. Godfrey Queron Correa from Palawan State University—Puerto Princesa was the top scorer, with a 93.60% rating.
