CLE RESULTS 2026 – The August 2026 Criminology Licensure Exam results, including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and performance of schools, were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 1, 2026.
PRC announced that 16,952 out of 29,452 (57.56%) examinees successfully passed the August 2026 CLE. “The results of examination with respect to five (5) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.”
The Criminologist Board exam took place on August 1-3, 2026, across testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Mati, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Lipa (Batangas), Nueva Vizcaya, Santiago City, Sablayan (Occidental Mindoro), and Naga City.
The Board of Criminology is led by its Chairman, Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, and its members, Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz.

Release of Results
Update as of September 1, 2026: PRC announced that the results of the LEC/ CLE Results 2026 will be released today, September 1, 2026. To quote,

Previous Updates
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 series of 2025, the target release date for the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Exam results is September 4, 2026.
However, the release of the Criminology Board Exam results may occur earlier or later than the target date. During the February 2026 board exams, results were released after twenty-six (26) working days. Schedule of Registration
The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new Criminologists’ Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be held on these date(s):
- Date(s) of Registration: Starting October 12, 2026
PRC advises online registration through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow the instructions for initial registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
- Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
- Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
- One (1) short brown envelope
PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
Online access to verify the Criminology licensure exam ratings and test results will be available within a few days after the results are posted.
All exam takers can check their ratings through the official PRC Verification of Rating page.
To initiate the verification process, examinees must provide the required information, including the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.
Oath-Taking
The dates and venues for the oath-taking ceremonies of the new successful examinees will be announced by PRC after the release of the results.
All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than noon on the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.
Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to attend the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official PRC website.
Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.
The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oath-taking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

The August 2026 licensure exam for Criminologists covered the following topics: Criminal Law and Jurisprudence; Law Enforcement Administration; Crime Detection and Investigation; Forensic Science; Criminology; and Correctional Administration.
Previous Exams
The Criminology Board exam is among the PRC’s licensure programs with the highest number of examinees.
In the most recent CLE held in February 2026, 30,320 out of 45,936 (66.00%) examinees passed. Khim Erole Lawyan Batersal from Lanao School of Science and Technology topped the exams with a 93.05% rating, followed by Tony Ong Bannot Dinamling from Ifugao State University, who earned 92.70%. The University of Iloilo was the top-performing school, with an overall passing rate of 96.76%.
In the August 2025 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE), 13,074 out of 25,410 examinees passed, yielding a 51.45% passing rate. Stephanie Lucquiao Sajor of Araullo University – San Jose topped the board with a 92.40% rating, followed closely by Jervie Keith Apas Marikit of Colegio de San Antonio de Padua, who earned 92.35%. Araullo University emerged as the top-performing school, posting a 92.80% overall passing rate.
For the February 2025 Criminology Licensure Examination, 22,245 out of 36,768 examinees successfully passed, translating to a 60.50% national passing rate. John Michael Bundalian Amio of Holy Angel University secured the top rank with a 92.20% score, while Christopher Pachico of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa placed second with 91.90%. The University of Iloilo led all schools with a 96.44% passing rate.
Meanwhile, the July 2024 Criminology Licensure Examination, conducted from July 31 to August 2, 2024, recorded 11,121 passers out of 22,539 examinees, equivalent to a 49.34% passing rate. Alyssa Eliana Nazaire Bautista of Araullo University ranked first with a 92.10% rating, followed by Jericho Aguilon Suarez of the University of Mindanao – Davao City and Renier Andrian Barbacena Togño of Naga College Foundation, both earning 91.50%. The University of Mindanao – Davao City was recognized as the top-performing school, achieving an overall passing rate of 90.87%.
