CPALE RESULTS May 2026: Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam Passers

CPALE RESULTS — The May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam results, including the list of passers, top 10 examinees, and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Accountancy in four (4) working days after the last day of exams.

PRC announced that 3,004 out of 9,745 (30.83%) successfully passed the May 2026 CPALE. “The results of examination with respect to eight (8) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.”

The Accountancy Licensure Exam was conducted on May 24-26, 2026, in testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The Board of Accountancy is headed by its Chairman, Hon. Noe G. Quiñanola, Vice Chairman, Hon. Samuel B. Padilla, and members, Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, Hon. Thelma S. Ciudadano, Hon. Gervacio I. Piator, and Hon. Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan (inhibited).

Release of Results

Previous Updates

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 series of 2025, the results of the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam will be released on June 2, 2026.

However, the release of the CPALE results may vary, occurring earlier or later than the estimated date. During the October 2025 board exams, results were released five (5) working days after the exams. We recommend bookmarking this page and following us on social media for the latest, most accurate result announcements.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new Licensed Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be held on these date(s):

  • Date(s) of Registration: Starting July 9, 2026

PRC advises online registration through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow these steps for online registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:

  1. Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
  2. Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
  3. Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
  4. Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  5. One (1) short brown envelope

PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The Certified Public Accountant Board exam ratings and test results will be verified online a few days after they are posted.

Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their pass rate in the board examination.

As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM on the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to participate in the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking ceremony. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official website.

Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.

Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

Previous Exams

The Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam, or CPALE, is one of the PRC-regulated exams with a large number of examinees.

In the most recent exams held in October 2025, 3,460 out of 10,171 (34.02%) examinees passed. Mike Ronnel Diwa Castro from Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University passed the exams, earning a rating of 91.83%, followed by Hannah Katrina Ballesteros De Vera from Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, who earned 91.50%. Bicol University – Daraga was the top-performing school, having an overall passing rate of 84.85%.

In May 2025, 3,156 out of 9,533 (33.11%) examinees passed. John Elrich Ramirez Gamboa from the University of the Philippines – Diliman ranked first in the exams, garnering 92.67%, followed by Aleya Francis Romanes De Guzman from De La Salle University – Manila, with 91.00%. The University of the Philippines – Diliman was the top-performing school, garnering a 100.00% passing rate.

In December 2024, 3,058 out of 10,136 (30.17%) examinees passed. Jianne Ilysse Dy Yu from the University of San Carlos ranked first in the exams, garnering 89.67%, followed by Julianne Nicole Luban Vitug from the University of the Philippines – Diliman, with 89.50%. The University of the Philippines – Diliman was the top-performing school, with an overall passing rate of 98.04%.
