CSC releases the CSE Civil Service Exam March 2025 results today

CSE RESULTS – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) releases the March 2025 Civil Service Exam (CSE) results today, May 2, 2025. This schedule was officially announced through Examination Advisory No. 5, series of 2025 of the CSC.

Please be advised that the new schedule for the release of passers/eligibles for the 02 March 2025 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), Professional and SubProfessional levels, will be on 02 May 2025

The official results of the Civil Service Exam include the complete list of passerstopnotchers, and other important reminders.

The March 2025 Civil Service Exams were conducted on March 2, 2025 at testing centers from all CSC regional offices, including the National Capital Region (NCR), Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON/ MIMAROPA, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Cordillera Administrative Region and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

OCSERGS/ Verification of Rating

All examinees (passed and failed) can generate March 2025 CSC test results using the Online Civil Service Exam Result Generation System (OCSERGS) on the following date(s):

  • OCSERGS Availability: TBA

Note that no rating report shall be mailed to individual examinees.

The examinee should accurately encode/fill in the required data in the corresponding fields under the personal information and examination details.

Certification of Eligibility (COE)

All passers must request the COE printed on CSC official letterhead a few weeks after the release of results. The CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken issues this letterhead COE free of charge.

All CSE passers are advised to verify if their letterhead COE is already available for claiming before going to the CSC Regional or Field Office. Bring the ID card, preferably the same ID presented during the application, and the application receipt and/or CSC official receipt.

Furthermore, passers may opt to request COE printed on security paper for a fee. The security paper COE and its authenticated copy may be applied for and obtained from any of the 16 CSC Regional Offices nationwide, regardless of the place of examination. Please check with the CSC Field Office or Regional Office if it’s already available.

Examination Coverage

The March 2025 CSE-PPT, both for Professional and Subprofessional levels, covered the following topics:

Professional Level (Prof) – In English and Filipino

  • Numerical Ability (Basic Operations; Word Problems)
  • Analytical Ability (Word Association – identifying assumptions and conclusions; Logic; Data Interpretation)
  • Verbal Ability (Grammar and Correct Usage; Vocabulary; Paragraph Organization; Reading Comprehension)

SubProfessional Level (SubProf) – In English and Filipino

  • Numerical Ability (Basic Operations; Word Problems)
  • Clerical Ability (Filing; Spelling)
  • Verbal Ability (Grammar and Correct Usage; Vocabulary; Paragraph Organization; Reading Comprehension)

The general information items on the following: Philippine Constitution; Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713); Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and Environment Management and Protection are also included for both professional and sub-professional exams.

Number of Items

  • For the Professional Level, 170 items with a time limit of 3 hours and 10 minutes.
  • For the Subprofessional Level, 165 items were included, with a time limit of 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Passing Score

The examinee shall obtain an 80.00% general rating to pass the civil service examination.
