MANILA, Philippines (Released November 4) – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Electronics Engineering releases the October 2021 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exams results including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools in six (6) working days after the last day of exams.
ECE RESULTS 2021: As announced, 710 out of 1,484 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 738 out of 974 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination. “The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld as per Board Resolution No. 06 dated November 4, 2021.”
The Electronics Engineering board exam was conducted on October 24-25, 2021 while the Electronics Technician on October 26, 2021 at several testing centers located at Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Electronics Engineering Chairman, Engr. Alnar L. Detalla and its members, Engr. Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Engr. Herminio J. Orbe.

ECE 2021 Updates
November 3, 2021: Per PRC target dates of release, ECE results October 2021 are expected to be posted by November 2-3, 2021. However, it may also be released later than the target/estimated date without prior notice. Stand by everyone!
Release of Results
Referring to the results of the previous electronics engineer licensure exams, taking into consideration the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the estimated target release date stated in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the electronics engineer board exam results are estimated to be released in 3-4 working days or longer, after the last day of board exams. Expect the results by October 29, 2021.

PRC may also release the Electronics Engineer board results for October 2021 earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.
Schedule of Registration
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Electronics Engineers will be from December 1 to December 15, 2021.
Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The verification of ratings and test results for the Electronic Engineer licensure exams will be available online few working days after the posting of results.
Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.
Oath-Taking Ceremonies
Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed Electronics Engineers will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as transaction.
Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

ECE Summary (Stats)
Electronics Engineering board exam is one of the programs with average number of examinees conducted by PRC.
The previous Electronics Engineering was held on October 2019. During these exams, 2,460 out of 4,977 examinees passed the ECE while 2,589 out of 3,775 hurdled the ECT.
Neil Kenneth Tamina Mendoza from University of Santo Tomas ranked first in the ECE exams having 92.00% rating followed by Hannah Joy Dumaoal Fadullon from Colegio de Dagupan garnering 91.80%. In the ECT exams, Neil Kenneth Tamina was also the topnotcher having 94.00% rating followed by Christian Blanza Barrieta from Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Taguig having 92.00%.
UP Diliman was the top performing school in the ECE having 97.30% overall passing rate while Mapua University – Manila in the ECT having 96.99%.
