MANILA, Philippines (Released November 4) – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Electronics Engineering releases the October 2021 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exams results including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools in six (6) working days after the last day of exams.
ECE RESULTS 2021: As announced, 710 out of 1,484 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 738 out of 974 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination. “The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld as per Board Resolution No. 06 dated November 4, 2021.”
The Electronics Engineering board exam was conducted on October 24-25, 2021 while the Electronics Technician on October 26, 2021 at several testing centers located at Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Electronics Engineering Chairman, Engr. Alnar L. Detalla and its members, Engr. Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Engr. Herminio J. Orbe.

ECE 2021 Updates
November 3, 2021: Per PRC target dates of release, ECE results October 2021 are expected to be posted by November 2-3, 2021. However, it may also be released later than the target/estimated date without prior notice. Stand by everyone!
Release of Results
Referring to the results of the previous electronics engineer licensure exams, taking into consideration the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the estimated target release date stated in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the electronics engineer board exam results are estimated to be released in 3-4 working days or longer, after the last day of board exams. Expect the results by October 29, 2021.
We also advise everyone to bookmark this page and follow us at our social media channels for the freshest updates regarding the ECE results 2021.
PRC may also release the Electronics Engineer board results for October 2021 earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.
Schedule of Registration
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Electronics Engineers will be from December 1 to December 15, 2021.
Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The verification of ratings and test results for the Electronic Engineer licensure exams will be available online few working days after the posting of results.
Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.
Oath-Taking Ceremonies
Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed Electronics Engineers will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as transaction.
Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

ECE Summary (Stats)
Electronics Engineering board exam is one of the programs with average number of examinees conducted by PRC.
The previous Electronics Engineering was held on October 2019. During these exams, 2,460 out of 4,977 examinees passed the ECE while 2,589 out of 3,775 hurdled the ECT.
Neil Kenneth Tamina Mendoza from University of Santo Tomas ranked first in the ECE exams having 92.00% rating followed by Hannah Joy Dumaoal Fadullon from Colegio de Dagupan garnering 91.80%. In the ECT exams, Neil Kenneth Tamina was also the topnotcher having 94.00% rating followed by Christian Blanza Barrieta from Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Taguig having 92.00%.
UP Diliman was the top performing school in the ECE having 97.30% overall passing rate while Mapua University – Manila in the ECT having 96.99%.

I am working as an IT Engineer, after I graduated before Pandemic, I reviewed more than 1 year while working. I took the Board Exam this October whether I Pass or Fail atleast I tried. In the IT industry, even though Licensed or not Licensed but still no bearing increase in salary or special treatment. Certifications are more priority and it is globally accredited. Look PRC, many ECE Licensed going abroad to find higher salary why? Engineer deserved high salary we studied 5 years or more and some 1-2 years course is higher salary compared to Licensed Engineer it is because they are in the IT Field. Putting Engr. title in the name doesn’t feed our family, if you are looking for career growth or life long learning engineers IT is the best industry for that not in CPD points

It’s not about being rude e, it’s about them setting up dates and already adjusting it but still not following through what’s announced. Wag po natin i-lower yung standards natin at sabihin na be patient kasi palagi nalang ganyan e parang dapat ang mag adjust ay laging tayo. Manual ba nila chinecheck yan? Diba hindi naman? (Correct me if I’m wrong) besides, di naman ganun kadami ang nag exam this time. It just shows how ineffective and inefficient they are. Wag natin kasanayan yung pagiging late… lalo sa ganto na very mentally draining sa mga naghihintay.

Adjust? Bakit? Monthly ka ba nag aadjust sa kanila. Once ka lamg magttake ng exam. Minssan ka lang hihintay. Sila always ensuring na maayos ang results na malalabas. Dont speak about lowering standards, pag minadali baka lalong magkaroon ng errors. Tsaka hindi naman one go na ichcheck yung exams, inaadjust pa nila to ensure na maraming pumasa. Isang beses ka lang mag aadjust, kung lagi ka naman nag eexam twice a year ka lang maghihintay. Iilang days pa lang, yung ibang degrees weeks to months ang results. Please learn to adjust just this time. God bless.

Well, I don’t want to sound inconsiderate pero things like this ang nagiging reason why we in general tend to just accept half-assed services or experiences. Di ba dapat everyone should practice punctuality? If there are delaying factors be considerate and lay out proper timeline. Also, I’m not saying that for myself, I’ve already passed years ago, I’m saying that in behalf of people I know and am close with who go through extreme anxiety and pressure because of situations like this. Its not lowering the standards and equating half assed services sa pag adjust ng scores. May questions na wala sa sagot ang choices. No matter how good you solved it, mali parin answer mo kaya iaadjust nila yung total score by either removing those questions na walanf sagot or added as bonus point. Ece is a degree na technologically inclined kaya yung major natin they often update the questions na naka sang ayon sa state of the art tech. Which means na parami ng parami nirereview every year. Kung tapos ka na pala sa boards then good for you. Sorry kung cinoconsider mga examiners na every year dumadami nirereview ng ece so they give a little adjustment. A real half assed service is rushing the scores just to post it in time no matter if its erroneous. Isa pa, pandemic ngayon . Employees are not machines din naman. Iadd mo sa equation yung ccurrent protocol ng skeletal workforce, plus sa gov agencies, some have wed-fri early dismissal for disinfection, yu g iba once a week na one day disinfection ng office. Lahat naman siguro tayp dito ayaw magkacovid diba? Hindinaman one go yang checking. After checking magsstatistics pa sila for bell curve. Ilan questions inexam? 450 questions sa tatlong araw. Per question icoconsider nila, so anothrr round of adjustment after checking. Conditions today are not the same as pre pandemic, maramimg nag no show due to travel restrictions and lack of preparedness kasi nag adjust bigla sa online classes. Iveverify pa nila mga no shows kasi di ns!an sila bagsak. Stopnthinking in black and white andnconsider the grey areas. Consider nyo din naman pov ng prc and kung anong mangyayari pag nirush nila. Kinakabahan din naman ako all the time pero i dont think its a good excuse to accuse workers that theyre doing half assed jobs, especially for crucial things like this na alam nilang hawak nila ang life turning points ng mga estudyante kaya nag iingat lang din sila.

Do we have a right to know the truth why does prc delayed so much in releasing the result. Sana naman they could give appropriate words for us to understand instead many of us were so affected with your unreasonable prolonging the results. We are trying to calm down by observing several advices from the comment and yet we have been disturbed and could not properly focus on our daily routine. Please don’t hurt us further. It could be better and acceptable if we knew it. Sana naman mag bigay kayo ng info at updates kahit papaano wag lang stand by. Maraming salamat po in Jesus Name.

Di kase alam ni PRC gano kahirap maghintay ng another day. Di nya alam yun mababaliw ka kakaisip sa mga tamang sagot mo. Sana naman po ilabas nyo please. Naranasan ko yan way back 2019, kahit nagbakasyon ako sa Baguio for 5 days ( the day na chinecheck ng PRC yung exam) pero kahit nalilibang ako, naiiyak padin. Kase iniisip ko what if di ako pumasa, pano ko haharapin ganern. Kaya nga sabi nila ito yung pinakamatagal na araws ng buhay mo hahahah. Sobrang hirap talaga bawat minuto.
Pero piece of advice, makipag usap sa family nyo and friends. Wag nyo na muna tignan yung result. Hintayin nyong mag ingay ang messenger nyo at tatalon kayo for sure. Hihihihih.
