LET Majorship Guide 2022-2023 for Non-Education Bachelor’s Degree holder

Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) is currently the most-numbered examinees being administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The board exam is not only limited to those who took BS in Education as their bachelor’s degree. Those who took other courses and have finished the required units of professional education can also take the licensure exam.

Below is the list of LET Majorship for non-education Bachelor’s Degree holder and unit earners of professional education. The lists are extracted from the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers, Resolution No. 51 series of 2016 “prescribing the major component or area of specialization in the board licensure examination for professional teachers secondary level for graduates of non-education courses”.

      Take at least 18 units of Professional Education subjects it will take you at least one semester if you take all the subjects at once.
      You can file for the LET exam just ask for the transcript of records from the school where you got your bachelors degree and Professional education units along with other pertinent documents.
      I myself is BA Economics graduate I took 18 units of prof ed and took the LET exam last October 2.

    Hello po. I would like to ask, my undergraduate course was BA Communication and I also have my Masters Degree in Public Administration, I am planning to earn education units. Saan po mafall ang majorship ko is it on English since I am BA communication graduate or sa Social Science po since y Masters Degree is Public Administration. Maraming Salamat po.

    Can I use my latest Master’s degree of MAED major in: Educational Leadership and Management to take the LET examination for teachers this coming March 2023? without taking the new curriculum?

    Hello course ko po ay Bachelor of (science) in ENTREPRENEURSHIP kaso wala jan. ang meron jan is yung kahawig lang na Bachelor of (Arts) in ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Tanong same lang ba yung maging major ko???? Anybody can help me? Same entrep eh pero nag different sa science and arts?
