LET RESULTS SEPTEMBER 2024 – The September 2024 Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT) results, including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Professional Teachers on December 13, 2024, fifty-four (54) working days after the last day of exams.

The Licensure Exam for Teachers was conducted on September 29, 2024, at testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Antique, Bacolod, Batanes, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Romblon and Tagum.

The Board of Professional Teachers is headed by its Chairman, Dr. Rosita L. Navarro; Vice Chairman, Dr. Paz I. Lucido; and members, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.

Release of Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023, the September 2024 LET results will be released on December 13, 2024.

However, the release of LET results may vary, occurring earlier or later than the estimated date. During the March 2024 exams, results were released after forty-seven (47) working days. Schedule of Registration

The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new Licensed Professional Teachers (LPT) Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be held on these date(s):

PRC advises online registration through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow these steps for online registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:

  1. Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
  2. Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
  3. Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
  4. Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  5. One (1) short brown envelope

PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The LET ratings and test results will be verified online a few days after they are posted.

Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their pass rate in the board examination.

As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oath-Taking

All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM of the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to attend the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official website.

Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.

The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oathtaking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing the online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

The September 2024 licensure exam for Teachers (elementary and secondary) covered the following topics:

General Education (GenEd)

  • English – Study and Thinking Skills, Writing in the Discipline, Speech and Oral Communication, Philippine Literature and Master Works of the World
  • Filipino – Komunikasyon sa Akademikong Pilipino, Pagbasa at Pagsulat sa Panananaliksik at Masining na Pagpapahayag
  • Mathematics – Fundamentals of Math, Plane Geometry, Elementary Algebra, and Statistics and Probability
  • Science – Biological Science – General Biology, Physical Science with Earth Science
  • Social Sciences – Philippine Government New Constitution with Human Rights, Philippine History, Basic Economics, Taxation, Agrarian Reform, Society, Culture with Family Planning; Rizal and other Heroes, Philosophy of Man, Arts, General Psychology and Information and Communication Technology 

Professional Education (ProfEd)

  • Teaching Profession, Social Dimensions of Education 
  • Principles of Teaching, Educational Technology, and Curriculum Development
  • Facilitating Learning, Child and Adolescent Development
  • Assessment of Student Learning, Developmental Reading
  • Field Study and Practice Teaching

The examinations for the specialization in English, Filipino, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies and Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and Technology, and Livelihood Education covered specialized subjects.

Previous Exams

Licensure Exam for Teachers is one of the programs with many examinees conducted by the PRC.

In March 2024, 20,890 elementary teachers out of 44,764 examinees (46.67%) and 50,539 secondary teachers out of 85,980 examinees (58.78%) successfully passed. Mary Grace Manuel Bamba from Bataan Peninsula State University – Dinalupihan, Khane Jevie Rose Solante Cervantes from Davao Oriental State University – Cateel Campus, and Queenie Macalindong Macatangay from the University of Batangas shared the top spot in Elementary level, with 92.40% rating. Javerson Loquina from Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia was the topnotcher at the secondary level, with 92.80%.

Meanwhile, in the secondary level, Trilbe Lizan Vasquez from the University of the Philippines – Cebu was the top scorer, with 94.80%.
