LIVESTREAM: SONA 2019 of President Rodrigo Duterte

MANILA, Philippines – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte will deliver his fourth State-of-the-Nation-Address (SONA) on July 22, 2019 (Monday) at Batasang Pambansa.

People’s Television Network (PTV) is also covering the SONA 2019, likewise live streaming will be available at this website. Meanwhile, local mainstream media including TV5, GMA7, ABS-CBN, among others, are also expected to cover and stream the occasion.

Officials from the House of Representatives said that stricter security measures will be implemented at Batasang Pambansa.

To quote the chairperson of the Steering Committee of Task Force SONA 2019, House Acting Secretary-General Dante Roberto Maling.

The House is fully ready for SONA 2019. We have ensured that all details for the Opening of the First Regular Session of the 18th Congress in the morning and the President’s SONA in the afternoon have been considered and well taken care of for the safe, peaceful and orderly holding of these big events

These include the necessary internal and external security measures and requirements, protocol arrangements, parking restrictions, media coverage, other physical arrangements, prescribed and required attire, and final reminders to guests particularly with regard to their invitations, seat cards and car passes, among others.

Meanwhile, Joyce Bernal, a romantic-comedy film director will be directing the event. Last year, She also directed the SONA of President Duterte.

Classes at all levels in Quezon City have already been suspended on July 22, 2019.
