MANILA, Philippines – NAPOLCOM has released advisory via website that the NAPOLCOM Exam Review Center is not ‘in any way’ connected with the National Police Commission.
As quoted, the agency has not accredited any review center around the country to conduct review classes/ lessons nor published examination materials for the Philippine National Police Entrance and Promotional examinations.
NAPOLCOM is a government agency in the Philippines mandated by the 1987 constitution under Republic Act Nos. 6975 and 8551 to control and administer the PNP. The commission exercises its powers in terms of executing administrative rules, setting criteria for manpower allocation and deployment, administering recruitment exams for entrance and promotions for uniformed members, among other functions.
April 2016 NAPOLCOM Entrance and Promotional Exams
On April 24, 2016, NAPOLCOM conducted the entrance and promotional exams for existing and new examinees for PNP. While results are not yet released, it is expected to be posted by the Commission several weeks after the exams. Details are in the article below.
According to NAPOLCOM, a total of 42, 848 took the examination. 23, 175 took the PNP entrance exams while 19, 673 took exams in promotional levels specifically in Police Officer, Senior Police Officer, Police Inspector, and Superintendent. Top 20 examinees will also be posted along with the list of passers.
