NLE RESULTS 2024—The May 2024 Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam (PNLE) results, including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and school performance, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing in four (4) working days after the last day of exams.
PRC announced that 7,749 out of 11,116 (69.72%) examinees successfully passed the exams. “The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.”
The Nursing board exams were conducted on May 6-7, 2024, at PRC testing centers located in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The Board of Nursing is headed by its Chairman, Hon. Elsie A. Tee, along with its members, Hon. Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Hon. Elizabeth C. Lagrito, Hon. Zenaida C. Gagno, Hon. Marylou B. Ong, Hon. Merle L. Salvani and Hon. Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz (on leave).

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023, the May 2024 Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE) results will be released on Friday, May 17, 2024.
However, the release of NLE results may vary, occurring earlier or later than the estimated date. During the November 2023 PNLE, results were released after fourteen (14) working days. We advise everyone to bookmark this page and stay connected with us on our social media channels for the latest and most accurate result announcements.
Schedule of Registration
The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new Registered Nurses’ Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be held on these date(s):
PRC advises online registration through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow these steps for online registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
- Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
- Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
- One (1) short brown envelope
PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The NLE ratings and test results will be verified online a few days after they are posted.
Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their pass rate in the board examination.
As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.
Oath-Taking
All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM of the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.
Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to attend the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official website.
Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.
The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oathtaking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing the online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
Coverage of Exams
The May 2024 Nursing licensure exam covered topics such as community health nursing, care of healthy or at-risk mother and child, and care of clients with physiologic and psychosocial alterations.
As per the Board of Nursing, the tests draw basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the major subject areas, specifically in fundamentals of nursing, including professional adjustments, maternal and child nursing, community health and communicable disease nursing, nursing of adolescents, adults and aged, and mental health and psychiatric nursing.
The examination also tests competencies in relation to the eleven (11) key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. The key areas are categorized as follows:
Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Nutrition and Diet Therapy, and Parasitology and Microbiology are also integrated.
Previous Exams
In the November 2023 PNLE, 25,761 out of 32,203 (80.00%) examinees passed. The highest board exam rating so far recorded. Aristotle Calayan Castronuevo from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Cris Vinz Corpuz Tomboc from West Visayas State University – La Paz shared the top spot with a 91.00% rating.
In May 2023 NLE, 10,764 out of 14,364 (74.94%) examinees passed. Cristin Bagang Pangan from the University of the Philippines – Manila was the top scorer, having 91.60% followed by Mary Edrianne Codilla Sobretodo from the Father Saturnino Urior University, with 91.40%.
During November 2022 PNLE, 18,529 out of 24,903 (74.40%) examinees passed. Abuigail Garganta Ramirez from Saint Paul University – Dumaguete ranked first garnering a rating of 90.00% followed by Jezrel Cabasis Alijid from West Visayas State University – La Paz and Melchor Flores Pimentel Jr. from. Saint Louis University, having 89.80%.
