NLE RESULTS: November 2024 Nurse Licensure Exam List of Passers

NLE RESULTS 2024—The November 2024 Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam (PNLE) results, including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and school performance, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing in fourteen (14) working days after the last day of exams.

PRC announced that 29,349 out of 34,534 (84.99%) successfully passed the November 2024 NLE. “The results of examination with respect to nine (9) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.”

The Nursing board exams were conducted on November 9-10, 2024, at PRC testing centers located in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The Board of Nursing is headed by its Chairman, Hon. Elsie A. Tee, along with its members, Hon. Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Hon. Elizabeth C. Lagrito, Hon. Zenaida C. Gagno, Hon. Marylou B. Ong, Hon. Merle L. Salvani and Hon. Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz.

Release of Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023, the November 2024 Nurse Licensure exam results will be released on November 28, 2024.

However, the release of NLE results may vary, occurring earlier or later than the estimated date. During the May 2024 exams, results were released after four (4) working days. We advise you to bookmark this page and stay connected with us on our social media channels for the latest and most accurate result announcements.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new RNs’ Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be held on these date(s):

  • Date(s) of Registration: Starting December 17, 2024

PRC advises online registration through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow these steps for online registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:

  1. Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
  2. Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
  3. Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
  4. Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  5. One (1) short brown envelope

PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The Nurse Board exam ratings and test results will be verified online a few days after posting them.

Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their pass rate in the board examination.

As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM of the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to attend the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official website.

Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.

The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oathtaking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing the online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

Coverage of Exams

The November 2024 Nursing licensure exam covered topics such as community health nursing, care of healthy or at-risk mothers and children, and care of clients with physiologic and psychosocial alterations.

According to the Board of Nursing, the tests assess basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the major subject areas, specifically in the fundamentals of nursing, including professional adjustments, maternal and child nursing, community health and communicable disease nursing, nursing of adolescents, adults, and the elderly, and mental health and psychiatric nursing.

The examination also tests competencies about the eleven (11) key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. The key areas are categorized as follows:

  • Safe and Quality Nursing Care
  • Communication
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Health Education
  • Legal Responsibilities
  • Ethico-Moral-Spiritual Responsibilities
  • Personal and Professional Development
  • Management of Resources and Environment
  • Records Management
  • Research
  • Quality Improvement

Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Nutrition and Diet Therapy, Parasitology and Microbiology are also integrated.

Previous Exams

In the May 2024 NLE, 7,749 out of 11,116 (69.72%) examinees passed. Abigail Escueta Cayanan from St. Jude College – Dasmariñas, Cavite, Inc. ranked first in the exams with 92.60.% followed by Jim Jerico Cedric. Garo Uy from Saint Paul University – Tuguegarao, 91.80%.

In the November 2023 PNLE, 25,761 out of 32,203 (80.00%) examinees passed. The highest board exam rating so far recorded. Aristotle Calayan Castronuevo from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Cris Vinz Corpuz Tomboc from West Visayas State University – La Paz shared the top spot with a 91.00% rating.

In May 2023, NLE, 10,764 out of 14,364 (74.94%) examinees passed. Cristin Bagang Pangan from the University of the Philippines—Manila was the top scorer, with 91.60%, followed by Mary Edrianne Codilla Sobretodo from Father Saturnino Urior University, with 91.40%.
