November 2023 Pharmacy Licensure Exam (PHLE) Results, List of Passers

The November 2023 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PHLE) results, passers list, top 10 examinees, and leading schools are released by the PRC on November 8, 2023, three (3) working days after the conclusion of the exams.

As announced, 2,974 out of 4,038 (73.65%) examinees successfully passed the exams.

The Pharmacy board exam took place on November 2-3, 2023, across various testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The Board of Pharmacy is led by its OIC, Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros, along with its members, Dr. Adelina C. Royo and Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago.

The November 2023 PHLE is the second schedule of the Pharmacist Board exam for the year 2023.

Release of Results

As per PRC Resolution No. 1589, series of 2022, titled ‘Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2023,’ the November 2023 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PHLE) results are scheduled for release on November 8, 2023.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new Pharmacists’ Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced at a later date.

For initial registrants, the PRC advises online registration through the official PRC website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow these steps for online registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:

1. Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
2. Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
3. Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
4. Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
5. One (1) short brown envelope

PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of Pharmacy licensure exam ratings and test results will be accessible online shortly after the results are posted.

Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their pass rate in the board examination.

As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.

Oath-Taking

Successful examinees who wish to participate in the face-to-face mass oath-taking ceremony must complete their registration by no later than 12:00 NN on the day before the scheduled event. Registration can be done on the official PRC website at http://online.prc.gov.ph.

Additionally, inductees are required to present one of the following documents on the day of the oath-taking:

1. Vaccination Card
2. Negative RT-PCR test results conducted within 48 hours before the oath-taking ceremony.

It is advisable for inductees to register and confirm their attendance in the region where they took their licensure examination and intend to practice as professionals.

Previous Exams

The Pharmacist board exam is among the programs with a consistent number of examinees conducted by the PRC.

In the most recent Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PHLE) in April 2023, 1,420 out of 2,275 candidates (62.42%) successfully passed. Lyndale Lauron Gallardo from Cebu Doctors University secured the top spot with an impressive 93.55% rating. St. Louis University emerged as the top-performing school with a remarkable 97.14% passing rate.

During the November 2022 PHLE, 2,390 out of 3,828 examinees (62.43%) passed the exam. Ritch Joshua De La Cerna Villadarez from the University of the Immaculate Conception – Davao ranked first with a score of 92.65%, followed closely by Honey Lynn Magtoto Isip from the University of Santo Tomas, who scored 92.55%. St. Louis University maintained its top-performing status with an impressive 96.40% overall passing rate.

In April 2022, 678 out of 1,870 examinees succeeded. Adriel Luigi Garcia Coseip from the University of the Philippines (UP) – Manila emerged as the top scorer with a 91.63% rating, followed by Anjila Bianca Lao Aala, also from UP Manila, with a 91.40% score. The University of the Philippines Manila was the top-performing school, achieving a perfect passing rate.

In the November 2021 PHLE, 1,207 out of 2,371 examinees (50.91%) passed. Nicola Christine Aquino Rivera from the University of the Philippines – Manila secured the top position with an impressive rating of 93.90%, closely followed by Kristine See Ang from the University of the Philippines – Manila, who achieved a 93.10% score. The University of the Philippines – Manila maintained its status as the top-performing school, boasting a remarkable 98.18% overall passing rate.
