MANILA, Philippines – The October 2025 Ocular Pharmacology special certification exam results, including the complete list of board passers, top 10 examinees, and overall performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Optometry in twelve (12) working days after the last day of exams.
PRC announced that 24 out of 27 examinees successfully passed the exams.
The Special Certification Exam for Ocular Pharmacologists was conducted on October 1, 2025, at testing centers located in the National Capital Region. The licensure examinations are administered by the PRC Board of Optometry, headed by its Chairman, Dr. Christine S. Rodriguez, and its members, Dr. Fides F. Masanga, Dr. Irene Christine C. Peliño, Dr. Bernardita A. Garcia, and Dr. Mario T. Flores, Jr. (inhibited).

Release of Results
Based on the official schedule outlined in PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the PRC targets October 14, 2025, as the release date for the September 2025 Ocular Pharmacology board exam results.
However, examinees should note that this date is an estimate, and the actual release of the Ocular Pharmacology board exam results may occur earlier or later depending on the PRC’s timeline. For context, the results for the October 2024 Ocular Pharmacology were released nine (9) working days after the exam. Schedule of Registration
The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new Licensed Ocular Pharmacologist’s Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be held on these date(s):
- Date(s) of Registration: Starting November 14, 2025
PRC advises online registration through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow these steps for online registration and ensure you have the following requirements ready:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
- Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
- Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
- One (1) short brown envelope
PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Ratings
A few days after the official Licensure Exam for Ocular Pharmacology results are published, successful examinees can verify their ratings online through the PRC’s official website.
To perform the PRC online verification, navigate to the dedicated Verification Page and provide the necessary details: specify the examination name (Licensure Exam for Teachers), the date the examination was held, your application number, complete first name and last name, and your date of birth. This process allows passers to confirm their board examination results and ratings directly via the PRC online system.
Oath-Taking
All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM on the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.
Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to participate in the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking ceremony. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official website.
Passers may schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.
The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oathtaking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing the online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
