PhLE RESULTS: November 2021 Pharmacist Board Exam Passers

MANILA, Philippines (Updated December 3) – The November 2021 Pharmacist Licensure Exam PhLE results including the complete board list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Pharmacy in four (4) working days after the last day of exams.

As announced, 1,207 out of 2,371 successfully passed the exams.

The Pharmacist board exam was conducted on November 25-26, 2021 at several testing centers located at the Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Pharmacy’s OIC, Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago and its members, Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Ms. Adelina C. Royo.

PhLE 2021 Updates

November 29, 2021: PhLE results November 2021 are expected to be released on or before Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Stand by for developments.

Release of Results

Referring to the results of the previous pharmacist licensure exams, taking into consideration the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the estimated target release date stated in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the Pharmacist board exam results are estimated to be released in 3-4 working days or longer, after the last day of board exams.

PRC may also release the Pharmacy board results for November 2021 earlier or later than the estimated date without prior notice.

Schedule of Registration

The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Pharmacists will be from January 6 to January 13, 2022

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:

• Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
• Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
• Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
• One (1) piece short brown envelope

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the pharmacist licensure exams given by PRC Board of Pharmacy will be available online few working days after the posting of results.

Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed Pharmacists will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and  select “e-OATH” as transaction.

Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.

Coverage of Exams

The November 2021 Pharmacist licensure exam covered topics from Pharmaceutical Chemistry (20%), Pharmacognosy (15%), Practice of Pharmacy (17.5%), Pharmacology-Pharmacokinetics (15%), Pharmaceutics (17.5%) and Quality Assurance and Quality Control (15%).

Pharmacist Board Exams Summary (Stats)

Pharmacist board exam is one of the programs with average number of examinees conducted by PRC.

In the previous PhLE held on June 2021, 1,546 out of 2,337 examinees passed. Deanne Marizthel Janda Madrio from Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas Inc. ranked first garnering a rating of 93.95% followed by Abigail Santiago Xu University of the Philippines – Manila having 93.45%.

Three schools shared the top spot in the top performing schools’ list having 100.00% passing rate. They were Adamson University, St. Scholastica’s College – Tacloban and University of the Philippines – Manila.
