The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the room assignments for the August 2026 Psychologists and Psychometricians Licensure Examinations (PmLE & PsLE) several days before the examinations. The Psychologists and Psychometricians board exams will be conducted on August 19 and 20, 2026.
The Psychologists Licensure Examination will be held in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, and Tuguegarao. Meanwhile, the Psychometricians Licensure Examination will be conducted in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The Board of Psychology is headed by its Chairperson, Hon. Miriam P. Cue, together with its member, Hon. Hector M. Perez. The other member position is currently vacant.
Examinees are advised to verify their school, building, and room assignments through the links below or through the notices and announcements posted on the PRC official website.

General Instructions
Examinees must report to their assigned school or building before 6:30 AM on the first day of the examination to verify their room and seat numbers.
Examinees are reminded to be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted.
They should also carefully read and follow the instructions indicated on their Notice of Admission.

What Should You Bring on Examination Day?
Examinees must bring the following:
- Notice of Admission
- One (1) piece of metered-stamped window mailing envelope
- Two (2) or more pencils
- Ball pens with black ink only
- One (1) piece of long brown envelope
- One (1) piece of long transparent or plastic envelope for valuables and other allowed items
- Packed snacks, meals, necessary medications, and hygiene or sanitary kits placed in transparent or clear containers or cellophanes
- Sufficient drinking water for the day
- One (1) approved non-programmable calculator
Only one calculator per examinee will be allowed inside the examination room. Calculators will be inspected and must be reset before the examination begins.
Food delivery personnel and other individuals will not be allowed to distribute food to examinees during the examination.
What to Wear on Examination Day?
The PRC requires examinees to wear the following attire every examination day:
Male examinees
- White polo or shirt with collar without any seal, logo, or mark
- Decent slacks or pants
Female examinees
- White blouse or shirt with a collar without any seal, logo, or mark
- Decent skirt or pants
Prohibited Items During the Board Exams
The following items are prohibited inside the examination premises:
- Books, notes, review materials, and printed materials containing coded data, information, or formulas
- Programmable calculators
- Casio FX-991ES and Casio FX-991ES Plus calculators
- Smartwatches, including Apple, Samsung, and similar devices
- Cellular phones
- Earplugs
- Transmitters
- Portable computers
- Bluetooth devices
- Electronic gadgets that may store, retrieve, or transmit information
- Bags of any kind, including ladies’ bags, shoulder bags, attaché cases, and backpacks
- Other examination aids not specifically allowed in the examination program
The rules on bodily searches, the inspection of personal belongings, and the seizure or confiscation of prohibited items will be strictly enforced.
Personal belongings brought by examinees will be under their own responsibility. The PRC will not be liable for any items lost during the examination, unless its fault or negligence is found.
Health and Safety Reminders
Examinees and examination personnel are encouraged to observe the minimum health standards prescribed by the Department of Health throughout the examinations.
Examinees who need regular medication should bring an adequate supply and keep it inside a transparent or clear container.
