NLE RESULTS 2026—The August 2026 Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam (PNLE) results, including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and school performance, are expected to be released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing on or before September 18, 2026.
The Nursing board exams are scheduled on August 29-30, 2026, at PRC testing centers located in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cabanatuan, Cauayan, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).
The Board of Nursing is headed by its Chairman, Hon. Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz, along with its members, Hon. Elsie A. Tee, Hon. Zenaida C. Gagno, Hon. Mary Grace C. Lacanaria, Hon. Mila Delia M. Llanes, Hon. Merle L. Salvani, and Hon. Josefina A. Tuazon.

Important Updates
August 30, 2026: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that the second day of the August 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) in Metro Manila, originally scheduled for August 30, 2026, was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and PAGASA Heavy Rainfall Warnings.
The cancelled examination day has been rescheduled to September 12, 2026 (Saturday). Affected examinees are advised to monitor the official PRC website and social media channels for further announcements.
PRC announced the cancellation of the August 29-30, 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination in Region III, covering San Fernando, Pampanga, Cabanatuan, and Nueva Ecija testing centers, due to regionwide flooding. The examination for affected examinees has been rescheduled to September 10-11, 2026.
Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 series of 2025, the target release date for the results of the August 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination is September 18, 2026.
However, the release of the Nursing Board Exam results may occur earlier or later than the target date. We recommend bookmarking this page and following us on social media for the latest and most accurate result announcements.
Schedule of Registration
The schedule for online appointments to obtain the new RNs’ Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be announced after the release of the August 2026 NLE results.

PRC advises successful examinees to register online through the official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Follow the instructions for online registration and prepare the following requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes only
- Completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
- Two (2) passport-sized ID photos on a white background, each with a complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
- One (1) short brown envelope
PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must complete their registration in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The Nurse Board exam ratings and test results will be verified online a few days after the results are posted.
Successful candidates can visit the official PRC website and utilize the Verification Page to check their ratings in the board examination.
As outlined, a passing candidate should provide the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and birthdate.
Oath-Taking Ceremonies
The schedule of the oath-taking ceremonies for the successful examinees of the August 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination will be announced by PRC after the release of results.
All passers interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 PM on the day before the date of oath-taking. Register at https://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.
Those who cannot attend the mass oath-taking may opt to attend the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted on the official PRC website.
Passers may schedule an online appointment at https://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction.
The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the online oath-taking day. Inductees must print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
After the oath-taking, the inductees shall proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at https://online.prc.gov.ph.

- Nursing Practice I – Care of Individuals, Families, Population Groups and Community (Community Health Nursing)
- Nursing Practice II – Part 1: Care of Mother, Adolescent (Well Clients), At Risk or With Problems (Acute & Chronic); Part 2: Human Growth and Development
- Nursing Practice III – Care of Clients with Problems in Surgery, Oxygenation, Fluid and Electrolytes, Infectious, Inflammatory and Immunologic Response, Cellular Aberrations (Acute and Chronic)
- Nursing Practice IV – Care of Client with Problems in Nutrition and Gastro-Intestinal, Metabolism and Endocrine; Perception and Coordination (Acute and Chronic)
- Nursing Practice V – Care of Clients with Maladaptive Patterns of Behavior (Acute and Chronic); Care of Clients with Life-Threatening Condition, Acutely Ill/Multi-Organ Problems, High Acuity and Emergency Situations
Previous Exams
NLE is one of the PRC’s programs with the largest number of examinees.
In the most recent NLE held in February 2026, 3,611 out of 8,162 (44.24%) examinees successfully passed the examinations.
In the November 2025 NLE, 40,692 out of 45,192 (90.04%) examinees passed. Johannah Marie Gerardo Acevedo and George Wilson Tan Escordial, both from West Visayas State University – La Paz, ranked first in the exams, garnering a 93.80% rating.
In the November 2024 NLE, 29,349 out of 34,534 (84.99%) examinees passed. Chariemae Nuñez Cañazares from Cebu Normal University was the topnotcher, with a 92.60% rating, followed by Arianne Marie Baltero Estrella from the University of the Philippines – Manila, with a 92.20% rating.
In the May 2024 NLE, 7,749 out of 11,116 (69.72%) examinees passed. Abigail Escueta Cayanan from St. Jude College – Dasmariñas, Cavite, Inc. ranked first in the exams with a score of 92.60%, followed by Jim Jerico Cedric Garo Uy from Saint Paul University – Tuguegarao, with 91.80%.
