MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed the last day of the scheduled of Veterinarian Licensure Exam in Manila/ National Capital Region (NCR) due to recently imposed Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 130-A (s. 2021) and PRC Resolution No. 1392 (s. 2021).
The latter will be re-scheduled to an appropriate date.
Meanwhile, the conduct of Veterinarian board exam at other testing locations including PRC-Baguio, PRC-Cebu, PRC-Koronadal, PRC-Legaspi, and PRC-Tuguegarao will proceed as scheduled.

The August 2021 Veterinarian licensure exam was administered on August 4-6, 2021 by the Board of Veterinary Medicine headed by its Chairman, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta and its member Dr. Maximino M. Montenegro.
Several board exams scheduled on first and second quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.
