MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed the schedule of the May 2021 Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE) due to community quarantines.
The latter has been re-scheduled on November 21-22, 2021.

The June 2021 licensure exam for aspiring Nurses was set to be held at PRC testing centers located at the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
To quote from the PRC official announcement,
Due to the unpredictable circumstances and continued restrictions brought by the extended community Pursuant to Resolution No. 1350 (s. 2021), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the May 30 and 31, 2021 and November 20 and 21, 2021 Nurses Licensure Examinations have been rescheduled to November 21 and 22, 2021.

Several board exams scheduled on first quarter of 2021 were cancelled and re-scheduled (see below) due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were also licensure exams that pushed through following a strict health and safety protocols imposed by the commission. Among are the board exams for Medical Technologists/ MTLE, Social Workers, Veterinarians and Physicians/ PLE.

PRC has released the schedule of board exams for the year 2021 on November 2020 through Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020. These includes the opening of online processing, deadline of filing, target release of results, among other important announcements.
